  I think Mr. Nsowah has got this wrong. Why should so many students have phobia for the subject. It takes giving children in basic education being taught the right approach to whip up interest in Maths . That interest leads to the children enjoying practicing and solving mathematical problems. Great satisfaction is derived from being successful in solving maths equations and leads to more desire and interest in the subject. It takes a lot of practice to become a good mathematician and it cannot be studied like English, for example.
  I am disappointed Mr. Nsowah who was in charge of our Education system in the past is putting the failures in the system to phobias.

  These kids don't learn anything, they even post on social media platforms using very horrible English that they themselves have created. No one should blame any teacher, parents should be the first point of call...this is a lost generation.

  look teaching in the shs now is based on 'who you know' it not uncommon to see teachers with very strong maths background and teaching skills but are not given the opportunity to teach in the shs no doubt we re harvesting what our heads of institutions sowed. Anyway brethren got to study hard and stop using their time on Facebook and wassup

  the problem should be levelled against the student.in the olden where phone was scarce student performed better now parent buy phone and believe their children will use the gadget for homeworks. instead allowing student to look for books and think they end up on social media. what I hate is politicians joking with our educational system
