To your query whether Ghana is that debased, i.e., Ghanaains are that debased, knowing what you and I know, I had reached the conclusion long ago and have been saying it loudly that too many crooks, scoundrels, "thieves and thiefettes" are in important positions in the governance of that country and in the private sector. It can be safely said that a cabal of such people are in control of that country, and it cuts across party lines. We need to wage a new independence movement to liberate ourselves and Ghanaians from them, neo-colonial agents of foreign extractive capital, whether Western or Chinese.

I will never forget how two boys, one with hydrocephalus and the other totally crippled and crawling on all fours received free treatment from both hospitals in the 70"s by the noble Spanish Missionaries. After Kufour kicked them out, Bro Jose is now working in an orphanage in California. I was heart broken when Kufour"s administration took that action. Personally, I will not be alive today had it not been the impeccable and almost free care I received from the missionaries in the 60"s,70"s.

There was that story of a Ghanaian doctor (Mr Wilson )who negotiated with the authorities of one of the universities in Ghana to come down from Germany to teach some subjects which were not having teachers free free free of charge . Transportation, accomodation, feeding etc costs were to be borne by him (Mr Wilson) per the agreement. Hmm ! Folks, Dr WILSON came down to learn to his utmost chagrin and disappointment that the authorities of the school , are charging the students to pay for all the costs involved and tuition fee.Dr WlLSON disappointedly enplaned back to Germany without achieving his aim becos the cost was too much for the students to bear even thou they badly need him.So my brother whenever something about Ghana crops up let us deal with it constructively and effectively. With all these facts at our disposal, and as discerning we may be some people will eventually lay the blame on the doorstep of some perceived "incompetent" and "mediocre" group, all in the name of cheap and parochial struggle for power. How pathetic and compromising this department has become that upon receiving such llevels of ethical standards and training, one would think that they are closest to the SAINTS because they render similar services like the HEALING POWER of the "BIGGEST MAN" in the "HEAVENS"however they have dragged their once enviable profession in very muddy waters therefore becoming self-seeking chauvinists within the circles of this senseless fracas.
What bothers me about the whole incident is the supposed ignorance of all the patients involved in the scandal. Why must some few individuals be allowed to denigrate the entire reputation of the Medical Council of Ghana and for that matter the supposed future opportunities that may yet be extended to the nation.
We are watching keenly to see whether you will turn around some day again to request for increaments in service allowances after your financial malfeasance and extortion agenda. Only God knows how long such practices have been in existence and in how many and in which facilities across the nation.
God bless and restore our systems with sanity and consciousness.
It will however be a very great diservice to GHANAIANS if and when the MEDIA outlets decide to keep silent on this SCANDAL, they ought be mindful that every National issue is of great interest to the people of Ghana. We are watching and listening attentively.
Let us remember, "what is good for the goose is good equally good for the gander".

Whiles those with good grades and with passion for the job are left at home .
