The government has constructed 123 Community Day Senior High Schools
(SHS) to provide space for hundreds of thousands of JHS graduates. It has also added to the stock, two (2) new functioning universities and implemented.

The University of Health and Allied Science with two year have a satellite campus to its structure.

The NPP is indeed a loser. Judging from the performance of the NDC in the four period given it by the general Ghanaian public.

In this regard, we are talking about the massive infrastructure, socio-economic and economic developement policies that have been implemented by the NDC since assuming power.

Let us consider the facts below:

In the resolve of the government to eradicate schools under trees and improve access to education, the NDC government has replaced 1,714 out of 2,578 schools under trees with decent accommodation and facilities; started the implementation of the progressively free SHS; procured and distributed free school uniforms and other educational materials; and expanded the school feeding programme.

Ghanaians will obviously not forget the relief the construction of the 123 SHS’s has brought in that many of our students can get secondary come what may.

This is sincerely a government working for the general good of the Ghanaian in general.

In the area of water production, 77.5 million gallons of water per day was added to the generation capacity as at the end of July 2015.

By end of 2016, this should increase to 109.7 million gallons per day and will result in a coverage of 76 percent for both urban and rural communities.

The statistics are that 85% of Ghanaians now have access to portable water.

The Adenta area has never accessed good water, but now thanks to all these investment by the John Mahama led administration, water now flows to the taps.

After all, if such money was invested locally, it would further enrich the culprits, and only crumbs may fall on the feet of the ordinary folks.

This silliness of failed Reaganomic trickle-down Economics is what is driving Gabby to make such statements. We surely know that all investments bring about some growth to our Economy. But Folks who steal to invest often claim the most profits to themselves to the detriment of all who work for them. They would even evade taxes on top of it all. And they hardly undertake philanthropic projects to help their communities.

How much of Sam Jonah's wealth from selling off the Oboasi Gold Mines to the Britts for Knighthood has ever returned into our Economy? He now operates a Venture Capitalist Business that benefits South Africa first and other foreigners, too. Why did he not invest in Ghana?

Enough of this nonsense from the Akyem Mafia. With all their continued presence in areas of influence in Ghana and abroad, and their wealth, they hardly contribute in building their own backyard.

What makes them think we can trust them to build Ghana?

Akufo-Addo often runs out to foreign Hospitals like visiting a local Market. How much assistance has he provided or solicited for improving our Healthcare in Ghana?

He and his cohorts are no different from the corrupt elements in the NDC they are trying to push out of Office. When they come to power, the Akyem Mafia would simply seek their own wealth but in very more refined way to obscure their corruption. They are keen in adopting pseudo-legal charade to hide their activities. Akufo-Addo recently talking about introducing a Fiscal Responsibility Act, but what he promised: “has been done by John Dramani Mahama”.

The Member of Parliament (MP) for Tamale South, who was speaking at the campaign launch of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) on Sunday, 14 August, explained: “The Minister of Finance has already completed the first ever Public Financial Management Act for Ghana to ensure discipline.

“Let Nana Akufo-Addo be reminded that he needs to do some more reading.”

He said the NPP had hurled accusations at the NDC regarding workers’ pension allowances, but he reminded the NPP flag bearer that “under Article 199 of the constitution, pension is not taxable”.

Mr. Iddrisu, therefore, cautioned the opposition to stop creating “discontent” against government.

He asked Mr. Akufo-Addo and his running mate, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, to desist from throwing dust in the eyes of the public to the effect that government intends to tax the pension allowances of citizens.

The second phase of the Tamale Teaching Hospital expansion project will add 400 beds to the existing beds.

160 bed Upper West Regional Hospital. 130 bed Maritime Hospital at Tema. (Institutional Hospital) Now let us continue with District Hospitals.
