When we put the President's statement to the test of reaso, it comes out proper and logical. The President believes, his government has significantly improved the road network in the Western Region. However, Akufo Addo, after touring the Western Region, claims he saw no such improved roads. Then the President responded to this claim of Akufo Addo not seeing any improved roads on his tour that, he must have slept as he was being driven on these roads throughout the tour. Of course, if he did not sleep, then he must have closed his eyes as to not see the roads he was being driven on. This to me sounds logical.
The question that must be answered is: has President Mahama made any improvements on Western Region roads as he claimed? To the President, the answer is "yes'' hence the soundness of his response.
