Yours is a debatable topic. I have several Philipino friends where I live and I hope they do not get pissed off with I write here.

Most of these fellows are hardly ever 12 months older than their siblings, meaning their Mothers got pregnant before the infant was three months old.

I do not know if Ghana Statistics show that women who have maternity problems leading to death are mostly those who conceive early again after after delivery.

Should any such stats be available, then it is worth studying for a deeper root cause.

Is it not one of the contributory factors that after 2 or 3 such deliveries, some of the mothers die at the next child birth?
Some years gone by, the Department of Social Welfare organised neighbourhood education in towns and villages to educate lactating mothers not to rush into getting pregnant but to allow the child to be weaned off milk before contemplating having another baby.
Today there is something called DOSSEW under a Mrs. Lithur or so, and no one knows what her outfit does with her budget.

Even I, born in the US, know that the ancestors were smart enough to institute polygamy to keep the action of babies being born too close in age to their mothers.

I, a mere high school graduate, know that when an African woman gets pregnant, at some point she goes and stays in her mother's house with her sisterhood (months before birth) while the husband gets or has a second wife to meet his needs. Then after the baby is born, it is months more before the mother of the children returns home to the husband. All after her female organs have heal due to the breast-feeding of the baby.

You Africans, in this 21st century, have lost your way. You are too mis-educated by white schooling and white religion.

Polygamy is far more than just a penis with several vaginas! Foolish people.

I also know a person is ignorant when they tell me Vodou is a religion.
