Having read what John Dramani Mahama is purported to have said concerning the NPP lacking visionary leadership, a few questions and observations should put things in it's proper perspective, especially when John Dramani Mahama is regarded as one of Ghana and Africa's most clueless and visionless leaders in recent memory.
Let's just not make his own statements of a gov't that touts it's achievements of building schools, hospitals and whatnots as mediocrity for the time being but to be revisited later.
He speaks of infrastructure developments during his administration and touts it, as unprecedented and left with yaanom, all these things would not have been done.
There are two things to that. It does seem he is portraying the little infrastructure development over the course of the 8 years of their administration to him and him alone, disregarding the contribution of the late President Mills who was sent off under very, very mysterious circumstances and that is troubling for those in that their NDC party who believe the Late Mills, if for nothing at all, was accommodating and not prone to narcissist tendencies.
Now, having said that, it would make for rigorous and vibrant debate as to the real meaning of classic visionless leadership, if John Dramani Mahama would give a complete breakdown of the projects and their cost considering the quantum of money that has accrued to his gov't and the debt profile to given a true, real and proper appreciation of the concept of mind-boggling cluelessness and lack of vision of leadership which currently, John Dramani Mahama is trending very, very, very high in this country.
We dare to ask, based on the debt profile and the resources that has accrued to John Dramani Mahama, and correlating that to the so-called infrastructure development, including the artistic impressions he is continually touting and singing from the rafters, is it John Dramani Mahama's considered opinion, that is an example of visionary leadership in this country, and even amongst the NDC party and gov't, this is what anyone apart from John Mahama would have offered this country?
It makes sense to state, a careful and intelligent analysis of this position would show and clearly define the concept of vision with regards to leadership and John Dramani Mahama. Perhaps, it would help for the NDC party to advice their unelectable Presidential candidate not to make their already dim chances much worse and precarious than it already is, at the polls.
Now coming back to the other issue which is the Hajj pilgrims and the so-called Tamale Airport. They, being John Mahama's NDC gov't said they would build a new international airport.
Ghanaians want to know, what international airport does the Tamale airport compares to, in trying to understand John Dramani Mahama's concept of visionary leadership? Can John Dramani Mahama tell Ghanaians in Tamale and in the Northern region, which international airport, the Tamale airport compares to, when placed side-by-side and in which part of this world so they can appreciate his vision?
We believe should John Dramani Mahama have the confidence to do that, which we very much doubt he would be able to in 50 years, the concept of vision within the context of the debt profile accumulated under the 8 year administration of their NDC gov't as well as the resources that has accrued to their gov't, would satisfactorily address vision and leadership and completely delineate vision, leadership and fantastic and catastrophic mediocrity.
We strongly submit that on a very careful analysis of these set of facts, John Dramani Mahama has been by far the most visionless, the most clueless, the most reckless and an unmitigated disaster of a mediocre President ever, in the history of this country. Nothing comes close to the failed leadership and governance of his administration and it would help lessen his heavy loss at the polls if he moved away from such statements. It is unnecessary, plainly unnecessary.

As somebody who claims to hold a university degree in history,John Mahama should have known or heard about the bond of 1844 which was signed between the then Gold Coast and the colonial masters that they will hand over and leave the country.Which meant at some point the colonial masters were going to leave.
That aside,before Nkrumah was rescued from his sufferings living abroad by the United Party to make him general secretary of the party,preparation for the country's independence was under way.
Nkrumah with his power concious and evil intentions decided to create problems and broke away to form his party and started making false claims about members of the UP in order to achieve fame to carry out dubious ambition.
It's never true the party of Danquah-Busia-Dombo tradition ever opposed independence of the country.Their sensible and right argument was not to ask for self government for we were still in the learning process of the system introduced to us by the colonial masters.Only fools never see sense in that logic and interpret it differently.
On the malicious accusations of the party of Danquah-Busia-Dombo that they opposed projects by Nkrumah,which rational sensible person will stand up against anything good?
They only raised concern about long term repercussions of reckless spending and unachievable plans the result of which we're reaping now.
After independence all what Ghana had was the money left in the kity by colonial masters so shouldn't common sense have told Nkrumah and his followers that care should be taken to manage it wisely and prudently?
After what has become laughable the declaration by Nkrumah that "after all the black man is capable of managing his own affairs "only people without shame and dignity will say that's the case after almost sixty years of so -called independence.
Please Mr John Dramani Mahama,count you self lucky that Ghana is a country full of ignorant people who are easily convinced and manupulated otherwise you and your party with crop of jokers should not be allowed anywhere near the corridors of power let alone govern.
I don't want anybody to take my words for it but analyse and judge for themselves to see if after forty years plus rule post independence of the people and party's of the same political idiology and beliefs and with the country in such mess and shambles,Mahama is an honest person to make the accusations against party of Danquah-Busia-Dombo tradition?Utter nonsense and loose talk.

I would be more grateful if Mahama had checked the history of our Mother Land, Ghana. It's unbelievable for Mahama to call the party which struggled their lives through out for the nations independence a visionless. Yes we are lack of visions to let you enjoy what you are enjoying now. Out of 59 years of independence, CPP ruled for 9 years, NPP has ruled for 10 years.Most of the remaining 40 years have been under the incompetent NDC. If the history is right NDC has been proved to be the party of no vision except for looting the nation. Ghana saw drastic change and improvement under their 10 years ruled and up till now ghana regrets to overthrow Dr Busia.
If NPP has ruled Ghana as NDC, life in Ghana would be completely and honestly better than what Mahama is thinking. What Mahama is try to do now is just a copy of NPP.
NPP would do more than this without putting our future generations life in jeopardy
The debts of the nation now will lead to some revolutionary time in future which will drastically affect our future lifes more than 79 Revolution( I will explain later).
I know you have to acuse NPP as visionless party as you are visionless president.
