Mr. Afoko Should have known from the start that he was not welcome in the NPP. They lied so much against him in order to disqualify him from the race for chairmanship. He should have backed off at that point, not because he is a bad chairman, but because, he will be provoked and kicked of as has happened. But he erroneously believed that he can help in making NPP be come a national party rather than a one tribe party.
Now he has failed and NPP too will fail. You have to come from Asante or Eastern Region to be party chairman or flag bearer. Let us even Congratulate Afoko for winning the chairmanship and kept the position for some months before they starting the war againts him. They used his own regional chairman to chase him and Kwabena Agyepong away in in a live threaning manner and which resulted in acid attack that landered his brother in big trouble.
He should truly leave the NPP and join in another party.

A man whose brother engaged in a dastardly murder of a party chief is not be courted by anyone. In any civilised country, he'd have resigned his post, and not wait to be thrown out shabilly. He is a liability in the NPP. Staying in it and causing dissent will cause them more votes where he comes from and beyond, thus benefiting the NDC too. NDC should not listen to Amaliba's foolish idea.
