THE TOWN & COUNTRY PLANNING DEPT AND THE SURVEY DEPT DID NOT CONSIDER THE EFFECT OF THE APPROVAL OF THESE SCHEMES ON CLIMATE CHANGE IN THESE TWO CITIES. First we must realise the achimota forest is to serve as a green belt /wind shield against any strong winds .Secondly to serve as "catchment "too prevent the flooding of Dwoulu and therfore Accra thirdly there used to be different types of monkeys there but none now so wildlife has been reduced due to human activity. Did the proponents think of the effect on the Achimota school? Why didn't such a project go rather to the shai reserve.its not politically correct against the environment. It's not late think twice.
