There is a lot of voter fury and resentment towards the current socioeconomic hardship in Ghana. There are a lot of independent voters out there who seriously analyse issues and will be appalled by the freeing of the Montie 3. Of course we all know that EVERY Ghanaian President has at one time or the other, usually to coincide with our Republic Day anniversary, freed or commuted the sentences of convicts. It makes no difference if Koku Anyidoho has forgotten that among the convicted criminals President Kufuor pardoned was Tsatsu Tsikata. And surely he's also aware that this isn't the first time that President Mahama has pardoned criminals. So the question he should be addressing is why it's only the case of the Montie 3 that has caused so much uproar. Koku Anyidoho can continue to swim in the 'glory' of being in government and say what he likes and behave like he's the monarch of all he surveys. But he should remember that he's not more sensible than any average Ghanaian on the streets of Accra and time will surely tell sooner or later.
