In the area of agriculture, Hundreds of tractors, harvesters and other farm machinery have been distributed to farmers across the country.

• The total number of Agricultural Mechanisation Services Centres has gone up from 57 in 2009 to 57 in 2009 to 57 89 in 2014.

This has resulted in an increase in the total area of farms, serviced by these mechanisation centres, from 47,880 hectares in 2009 to 74,760 hectares in 2014.

• New irrigation projects at Nobeko, Kaniago, Aponapon, Mosease, Adiembra, Kokroko, Dodoekorpe and Akurobi have been undertaken. Rehabilitation has also been carried out on schemes at Okyereko, Tanoso, Sandema Koori, Dawhenya and Akumadan.

As a result the total area of irrigated land has increased from 27,879 hectares in 2010 to 29,507.71 hectares in 2014.

There was not need for him to keep silence and not campaign when the NPP and its surrogates move about trying to discredit the president though it is obvious he has performed.

Even as part of the EC code of ethics for political parties, it is lawful for parties to campaign. So I do not think the President has acted wrongfully by campaign.

In other words, if NANA ADDO will stop campaigning, then it will be reasonable for JM to follow suite.

To ensure security Ghana Police Service expanded the Police Visibility and Accessibility to all regional capitals and selected urban areas.

The Service also created 309 police stations, 75 Districts and 30 Divisions across the country and deployed 1,900 personnel to 186 newly created duty points and increased their involvement in traffic management and public engagement.

In the resolve of the government to eradicate schools under trees and improve access to education, the NDC government has replaced 1,714 out of 2,578 schools under trees with decent accommodation and facilities; started the implementation of the progressively free SHS; procured and distributed free school uniforms and other educational materials; and expanded the school feeding programme.

Ghanaians will obviously not forget the relief the construction of the 123 SHS’s has brought in that many of our students can get secondary come what may.

This is real hope.

In just three years, In the area of water production, 77.5 million gallons of water per day was added to the generation capacity as at the end of July 2015.

By end of 2016, this should increase to 109.7 million gallons per day and will result in a coverage of 76 percent for both urban and rural communities.

The statistics are that 85% of Ghanaians now have access to portable water.

The Adenta area has never accessed good water, but now thanks to all these investment by the John Mahama led administration, water now flows to the taps.
