There is a lot of voter fury and resentment towards the current socioeconomic hardship in Ghana. There are a lot of independent voters out there who seriously analyse issues and will be appalled by the freeing of the Montie 3. The ECG is not the private property of the employees, it does not belong to them and they cannot do what they like. There are crooks in their ranks who are stealing and selling meters, cables and many other inputs needed for smooth operation of the ECG. The ECG should be privatised not even what government is proposing to do. Outright privatisation is what is need to bring discipline and efficiency to the company.
