Yes I can say that we have similar situation with Islamic fanatics as well when someone calls for a Jihad and people follow without even pausing to think if the Jihad is called for in the first place.

Blacks, especially Ghanaians, are perishing because we so much biblically ignorant, what the article is about. Jesus taught elders because he knew the scriptures and that's what is saying here that we should study the scriptures and not depend on the so-called pastors and bishops who themselves lack of the scriptures but the masses trust them with their salvation just because these good for nothing bastards called themselves pastors. If half the so-called Christians in Ghana have common sense there would have been no need for this article. Theses demigods pastors are ruining the lives of innocent vulnerable Ghanaians. Only those who do not have faith in themselves talk about poverty, unemployment and so forth. We have Kaneshie industrial area marked for creating employment. Strangely for whatever the reason, churches are buying off properties in these areas creating an industrial income from the very vulnerable who have lost their jobs. Government has lost sense of direction so has our metro authorities for allowing this to happen. If a church wants to buy an industry for a church, it must not be allowed except if the church wants to create an industry that will bring income to its members . Years ago, churches were isolated from townships and not within townships, today they are taking over our industries cresting the worse unemployment ever.

Everything said is on point. After so many futile years of following these fraudulent men of god some illiterate Ghanaians still refuse to use their brains and see these fake churches and fake pastors for what they really are. All our problems is due to high level of illiteracy amongst the populace. It's only in Ghana will you find churches sprouting up everywhere whilst we still live in darkness, roads are in bad conditions, unemployment rate is incredibly high, education system is crumbling and so many other negative developments taking place. Since we refuse to think these evil pastors will continue to fleece the ignorant and illiterate followers. Ghana in this modern day and age has more churches than hospitals, research centers, technological hubs, and libraries. That alone should tell you the kind of brains Ghanaians have. We deserve to be left behind in this advanced world due to our own foolishness and lack of critical thinking.

You can find quotations from the Bible to justify almost anything and everything. crooked pastors would always make references to revelations and special communication from God as we see in this case with Obinim. Furthermore, a proper understanding of the scriptures goes beyond just reading what is written in the pages of your bible. Crooked pastors would research a few Greek and Hebrew phrases and claim that they have an understanding of the original version of the bible. So let us, as a country agree on one thing; we are all, whether christian, muslim, traditionalist etc, governed by the constitution of Ghana. The problem in our country is that people don't their duties, rights and obligations. So the psychologist should simply call for more resourcing and expectations from the NCCE.
