If the presidency is all about taking so much loans, take a share with party leaders and the rest to do some projects for exhibits as evidence of use of the loans for projects then primary school pupils can be presidents in Ghana. Mahama taxed the Koko seller in ghana to collect money but what he shows for the money is just far too small to encourage us to allow him to govern again. That would mean we are fools. Both Arthur and Mahama will fall before Nana.

It is reactions like yours that affirm Arthur Kennedy's core message in his Article. Nana has not asked anyone to worship him. Of course, he wouldn't ask for that directly. But his attitude speaks louder than the words that might be rolling off his tongue to stipulate that expectation. Moreover, while he himself might not ask, his followers like you seem to suggesting that. Furthermore, what Kennedy said was only euphemistic to denounce the kind of violent reactions many of Akufo-Addo's followers take to when someone criticizes his actions or words, and he conveniently chooses to remain silent over.

Please, note that Arthur K is not the first, or the only one, even within the NPP leadership, who has made that serious observation of the NPP Flagbearer.

It is understandable that most of Akufo-Addo's followers like you would have difficulty accepting that fact about him. So, your protest against Arthur K's remarks is not surprising. However, your continued refusal to pull back a bit and consider the harm such an attribute of Akufo-Addo's is causing the NPP is what is most troubling.

If it were not for Akufo-Addo's arrogance and intransigence, there wouldn't be so much rancor in NPP as we have been observing in the last few years. If it were not for his habit of antagonizing all who dare point out flaws in and around him, no matter how benign they do so, we wouldn't be even here discussing this.

So, turning the guns back on Arthur K, does not solve the problem with Akufo-Addo's leadership. You may well see him as preferable to Mahama for our Presidency. But neither of them has a stranglehold on our Presidency, and shouldn't be given a pass for traits that do not auger well for the Nation's highest Office.

Therefore, I will reiterate what Arthur K said: "Akufo-Addo is no God".
People must not fear to criticize him when due. All we all ought to appreciate is using the right inoffensive words to express our disagreements.

The record shows that no matter how respectfully one disagrees with Akufo-Addo, one spontaneously earns his perennial antagonism. He would look away when his minions pounce on the fella who would dares challenge his views. Good leaders do not do so.

I don't think you realize that Akufo-Addo himself relates differently to the former Coup leader and President, Rawlings, today. Their relationship has evolved to become cozier. Would you then say that all that Akufo-Addo did in the 'Ku me preko' days were a fluke? We would commend him when he does well. We should criticize him when falters. We are all fallible. And leaders must bear the brunt of our concerns. No one is above correction.

I hope you would pull yourself out of your obsession with Akufo-Addo to be objective and poignant, if you really car about the NPP and Ghana.
