  JDM defeated Akufo Addo in 2012 with less than 50,000 votes even against the backdrop of the sympathy vote for JDM and the NDC due to the passing of Prof. Mills. The 2016 elections will certainly go into a runnoff.There is a lot of voter fury and resentment towards the current socioeconomic hardship in Ghana. There are a lot of independent voters out there who seriously analyse issues and will be appalled by the freeing of the Montie 3. I THINK JDM HAS SHOT HIMSELF IN HIS ELECTORAL FOOT.He should have shoved the 3 under the bus like Obama did to his pastor Jeremiah Wright when he made controversial comments
