Oh Lord..........., our heavenly father please, deliver this nation from the hands of these evils. This is not the Ghana I used to know some years ago. No discipline. Everyone is doing whatever they want. All because our leaders are doing the same thing. Look at this old evils cursing others in public. The young ones will learn and grow with it and start cursing others on the street. May God bless my mother land Ghana.

  A police friend of mine once told me that the first thing they care taught is to deny any allegation against a policemen. How many of the unlicensed drivers do the police officers take to court each day? The drivers are really suffering at the hands of these corrupt policemen.

  Drivers in GH do not know about the country's road traffic regulations and order for sanity to prevail both parties have responsibility of educating the drivers.
  The police traffic unit must task GPRTU to run road traffic regulation courses for all commercial drivers once every year. This will go a long way to improve our road traffic system.
  There is a sector minister for transportation. What are they doing to improve the system. These minister should have a plan to convince parliament during the vetting sand held accountable by parliament if they fail ....through the president who appoints them the weak and less industrious minister could be fired. This is how every ministry would work efficiently.

  Ghanaian drivers in general -, commercial or private dont trust the court system and our judges or migistrates for justice.That is why the police had taken advantage to unlawfuly milking the public.

  Ghana police services are among the unprofessional police services in the world.if we want to be the gateway to Africa- that is the eye opener to Africa governance , The government must treat the unprofessionalism in public service the urgent attention it derseves, because they are the face of the country
  
  The stupidity of the government to make simple procedure for small offences of recalcitrant drivers had made the finance minister huge looses of revenue, that money landed in the pocket of the thievery police service whom the country spent so much as salaries every month.
  
  why & why? this is ineffectiveness of governance.
  
  The unprofessional actions of the police on our roads had given Armed robbers also the opportunity to mount barrieres and harasse road users.
  The fact of the matter is ghanaians dont trust the court for fair and true justice.
  
  parliament must come out with a clear and modified list of penalty book with affordable price tag available in the book shops, where every motorist must have access to a copy, and simple way of paying the ofence into the government accounts.
  
  The most stupid, useless and waste of human resources is to send a trafic offender to prison, are we building a nation or just caging people because they refused to pay bribes?
