Is it to explain to the rest of us how some of you make your choices of Political Parties to link with and vote for?

Well, we may well be only revisiting the past. So, why should I be surprised, now. I remember how Dr. SAS narrated the source of his hatred for Dr. Nkrumah, some many months ago. He also mentioned something discomforting his father suffered under Nkrumah's Regime as being his main motivation for hating the late President.

However, as much as we may have personal stories like these to justify our current Political affiliations, I can't help questioning the propriety of such means to make the best voting decisions that would impact us for the rest of our lives.

Don't we have to consider events in their respective temporal contexts, and possibly let the bygones be bygones to allow a fresh look at our lives and the future of the Nation?

I very strongly object to this revelation of Ampaw's family story in the sense that it tarnishes the reputation of his Step-Mother who may or may not have the forum to defend her name.

In fact, attacking Jake, who, by the way, wasn't my favorite Politician, in such a private setting is not appropriate, and it is a hefty blow below the belt. The guy is not alive to confront the egoistic, loudmouth of a Lawyer on his slanderous attacks.

We should ask Ampaw if he had the balls to confront Jake on this issue when the latter was alive. If Ampaw did not do so, then he should simply zip up his big lips. Did he ever confront his Step-Mom about the affair, too?

I wonder if it had been his own real, biological Mom that was so involved with Jake, Ampaw would be on the radio and TV to so destroy her name.

Every wise adult must learn that there are certain family secrets that deserve to be kept under wraps forever, however painful. Because once opened, they could raise many more questions whose answers might cause unnecessary pain to folks living, or have unintended negative consequences on the person revealing them.

For example, Ampaw concedes his family was polygamous, and Jake took advantage of that. That being the case, did Ampaw ever think about the possibility that his Father might have also gone after his Step-Mom behind his real Mom's back? What if the Public began to ask about how well his father could sexually satisfy his Step-Mother, who, as a human being, also deserved such attention from her nuptial partner that her rivals were getting from his father and she might not have?

If Ampaw has any good lesson to impart or share, it may have to be cautioning the younger generation of the danger of polygamy. Not on how evil he perceives his Step-Mom, or Jake Obetsebi-Lamptey. May his soul rest in Peace!

What we've got here with Lawyer Ampaw is a son's delayed display of jealousy-by-proxy against his Mom's rival in marriage.

And at his age, Lawyer Ampaw should have long grown out of it. It is very pathetic of him to be washing such a family dirty linen in Public. If he thought he was hurting only the images of his Step-Mom and Jake, he got it all wrong because his own image is badly damaged with such revelation.

Ampaw is a 'sorry arse' puerile whiner! No one should mind his self-pity. NPP should care less about his Political choice made out this story.

I first noticed his adventurous incursion into that arena for fame when he went after Asamoah Gyan in the case of Castro's disappearance.

Ampaw claimed he had info, or even evidence, to prove Asamoah Gyan had something to do with Castro's disappearance. We are still waiting for that proof.

Then, the rape case against Asamoah Gyan erupted and, there, again, was Ampaw springing to the fore to take up the case against the Gyan. That case seems to be falling apart on Ampaw, with his chief witness, the interdicted CID personnel, proving so shamefully unreliable and inconsistent that the Judge even had question him if he were really ever a CID operative.

So, now, here is Ampaw, again, urinating upon the grave of Jake, and destroying his Step-Mom's reputation with this revelation of a possible family dirty secret. Ampaw appears to be a puerile, self-pitiful whiner.

His arguments I've heard on various TV Shows prior to this case did cast doubts in my mind as to his competence as a Lawyer.

He is a Lawyer and should know better. How dare he accuses a dead person of a crime that he cannot raise up to answer, or have any collaboration from anywhere to substantiate? Did he ever confront Jake with this charge when the latter was alive?

Who says adultery, as sinful as it is, is not human? To err is human, we all know. We all sin. That is human. So, if you want us to pity Ampaw who did not consider having pity on his step-Mom and Jake enough to forgive them, then you are not being fair-minded, at all.

Ampaw is not the only Ghanaian who lived in a polygamous family. Many of us have. The mature understanding of our polygamous system includes expecting children to share the pain of rivalry their real Mothers might be enduring in such relationships. But as we grow up, we must learn to accept the facts as they exist in our Culture, and grow out of that pain.

If we have any lessons to give to our younger generations and our Children, it should be using such pains to educate them against the Polygamous system. We have no right to demonize our Step-Parents who, themselves, got caught up in our long existing Culture and traditions, when we may not have had answers to such a system. If those Step-Parents did something horrible directly against us, that is what we may have to talk about. Not their love-life that we might not fully understand.

If Ampaw caught his Step-Mom cheating on his father, did he have the balls to confront the Step-Mother, then, or share the info with his father? If he could not do any of these, at that time, given that he was old enough to do so, he has no moral right now to attack her, now. The woman might not have the forum as he has now to defend her name.

Ampaw must consider that the Step-Mom could have been psychologically abused by being coerced to play second fiddle in her Marriage to his father. She might have been starved of emotions by her husband, Ampaw's father, and had to seek comfort elsewhere. Even questions on her sexual satiation could then be asked of Ampaw--something he does not qualify to testify to. He could and can never testify to that.

More, Jake is dead, and cannot respond to Ampaw's charges. How fair is that? Besides, such a story not only destroys the reputation of Jake and the Step-Mom but also tarnishes Ampaw's father's image as well.

Are you worried about foul-mouths? Then, confront Ampaw on that, first because his is just as foul, if not worse. Have you not heard his foul mouth about Asamoah Gyan on the current rape charge Ampaw is leading against the Black Stars capo? And even before that case, Ampaw had claimed to know, and said he could prove, that Asamoah Gyan had something to do with the disappearance of Castro. Ampaw has not been able to prove that yet. Who then has a stinkier mouth than Ampaw?
