Promoted only to the next rank? Will this be a means of motivation, considering the possibility of the service personnel loosing their lives. I think this promotion has never been in existence in the police work ethics but was given out of mercy. I suggest an L.I. must be put in place for such officers who are likely loosing their lives under a situation like this.
