Your biased president, John Mahama has set you free because you are part of NDC corrupt machinery that is plunging Ghana down the hills. Montie 3 should know that no matter what, John Mahama caan not set them free from the consequence of sin.

No matter how you play your game to outwit your innocent fellows, and despite the fact that you are able to manipulate the law to stay out of the grip of the law, sin is sin. God has given individuals conscience to know right and wrong. When you do something wrong, your conscience tells you that you are wrong.

Many people are now insensitive to wrongdoing.Provided what they are doing will satisfy their whims and caprices, they don't care the consequences or whether they hurting some people. When society is drifted to this stage, morality deteriorates and everything breaks down. I thank God that not all people see the world the way Montie 3 and their supporters see it.

Thank God that we have people who hold good moral values that bind society together. God reigns. It is appointed to man to die and after death there is judgement. Be scary of God's wrath. That is my simple advice to Montie 3 and thie NDC supporters. For the fact that majority is doing does not mean they are right.

A Christians, we don't insult and threaten innocent judges ,who have wives, husbands and children with unnecessary death. Montie 3, you should know that the fact that you went to church to give thanks do not make you Christians. If you are christians, let your daily walk of life reflect our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Your lazy ndc lawyers had the chance to go back to the court for review but they chose article (72) to show to the Supreme Court judges their party is in power so can do whatever they want, so why do you blame a Ghanaian from far away who think his country is being trampled over, by some crooks who think they will destroy everything including the laws of the land? NDC are going to see their real size. Even an idiot should be able to infer from Article 72 sub(a) that the President has the legal standing to pardon anybody CONVICTED OF AN OFFENSE. Note that the preamble to article 72 does not distinguish between offenses and WHO is making the indictment. Hence ANYTHING that can lead to one's CONVICTION in Ghana is within the President's authority to pardon.

It is this simple, and even idiots should understand!

Was he not in this country when it went down? I don't think the Court will entertain the suit because Mahama and his party did what they wanted to do by their definition of the Constitution and that is it.
It will be thrown out and must be thrown out just as Ghana will throw Mahama out and the NDC out and keep them out in the political wilderness for a very, very long time.
It is a frivolous suit and Mahama and the NDC must get ready to pay for such gross, reckless irresponsibility. If you have lost an election you must learn to go peacefully and save the little dignity you have because that is the appropriate expectation of a responsible leader and not be given to such crassness.

An injustice has been carried out by a Court that decided to bring charges against citizens and then try them, and this lawyer fails to see the judicial abuse of power here. Something must be wrong with this lawyer. Where in the laws of Ghana does the Supreme Court have the right to bring charges against citizens when the Attorney General declines to prosecute? And how did the Court get its power to use proceedings intended for lawyers who have disciplinary matters filed against them before the Court extended to reach non-lawyers?

My friends,
I want to express my gratitude for your participation in the “Ask Mahama”. Thank you all! It was beautiful for me to see how many wonderful people are deeply interested in Ghana's future. I read every question and message carefully and each one helped me to better understand Ghana’s issues; to better understand YOU. Each answer I gave is also an answer I provided for myself.
I know that you care for this country, for its future, for its children, for its stability. I can tell you are interested in jobs safety and economic progress. I can understand that Ghana is your home and you want to feel safe and secure here.
It is with confidence that I say: we are now on the right track of this marathon towards the country we dream of. This is something that you can clearly see in the things happening around you, in the way this country has evolved - and it is not just me who says this.
The newly re-elected President of the United Stated of America, Barak Obama, after meeting our regretted John Evans Atta Mills, declared Ghana as "a wonderful economic success story". Also, he congratulated our country on the efforts Ghana has made to root out corruption, increase transparency, and to make sure that government is working for the people of Ghana and not just for the few.
This is a proof that the road we embarked on is a good one and that we can continue to be successful. Our progress is not un-noticed and our efforts are not without pay. Let us carry on this successful story that is Ghana even further.

There still are issues we need to take care of: we need to expand the access to quality education, to make Energy for All the bedrock of socio-economical transformation and to promote a decentralized governance agenda. But look at all we have already achieved: we are growing as a country; we have resources that we are managing better and better. We have people to count on. We have a future.

The issue is Mahama lacks the morals for it to be even considered as strong and this action has further doomed his highly incompetent, corrupt and clueless Presidency as the worst in the annals of the history of governance and leadership in this country.
The maximum sentence for the sickening and disgusting comments of the Montie 3, was they said, about three years.
The Supreme Court on conviction based on their own guilt and plea for mercy, sentenced them to a 4 months jail term and a fine. So it was not like the Supreme Court was not reasonable and compassionate in the application of the law based on the gravity of the offense. In fact we can say, the Court was very lenient.
The 4 months sentence was a teachable moment for Mahama, that as a leader who is supposed to be responsible and ensure discipline, if members of your party are messing up, threatening all sorts of nonsense and depravity in this country, as a responsible leader, you should have the presence of mind to put a stop to that kind of irresponsibility and outright indiscipline. And with a much stronger sentence, the message will be driven home based on the very contumacious comments demeaning the very dignity of womanhood, the Chief Justice, the Judiciary, the rule of law and our democracy with the intent to intimidate, cower and instill fear in the Court, ruling on a matter based on the merits of the case, which you felt would go against you in an election.
If that is not soft, subtle dictatorship then one does not know what it is.
Then you take the reckless and nonsensical decision to release these miscreants in a whimsical and capricious manner and you expect to be respected in this country? The question is what are you smoking?
Politics has not made us animals and savages in this country. The values, traditions and beliefs that we share have not been lost because of politics and when I see a grown man, taking a decision to free able-bodied men who threaten to rape the first female Chief Justice of this country and kill her, everything within me, everything I have learnt, everything I have been exposed to, everything I have been taught, everything I have experienced finds such a decision and such an individual, revolting. I have no respect for any such person, no respect but outright disgust. That is ill-mannered, uncivilized, indecent and irresponsible conduct and action that will never ever sit well with me, because I am the Son of my mother.

However, in Ghana we are seeing someone who would like to be called a public interest advocate, rising-up to stop a very kind and compassionate president from giving mercy to another citizen. What a paradox.
By Article 72, the President can grant mercy to any person convicted of any offence in any court of Ghana whether civilian or military. It does not matter whether the case resulting in the conviction was prosecuted by the Attorney General or not. The only condition required for this Article to be applied as is necessary is, a conviction and a sentence.
Perhaps, the only thing the President cannot do under this Article is, to increase or aggravate the convict's punishment. For a lawyer not to know this simple thing and he has to go to court for a judge to tell him, something must be wrong somewhere.

Montie 3 remission is fully back by law. Therefore all prisoners who are pardoned by this article have to be send back to prison. Whether contempt or Criminal case Article 72 is the way to free any prisoner.
