Again, there is ongoing construction of new airport at Ho in the Volta region this will open up over 598 businesses.

These two (2) public universities had already admitted students. Again, another university is being established at Somanya in the Eastern region this will provide education to the over 12000 youth who want Tertiary education.

Does he know that we have more than 1200 communities (villages) in the savanna areas? By the way is he talking of dug-outs or dams? Let me educate this educated fool whose doctorate degree I now have some questions about. Dug-outs are cheap to build but they have been found to be unsuitable for most places in the zone since the long dry and hot climate causes the water to evaporate quickly and leave them unproductive. For dams to be built to sizes that can make the productive and sustainable for farming, they must be built on active streams whose water is captured. Strong embankment is built to protect it from collapsing and canals or channels are made for the water to be harvested onto the farms. This is an expensive venture. Let this idiot go to Tono or Vea in the Upper East region and see what I am talking about. The soil must be suitable so that the water does not seep away. Let's assume all the over 1200 villages are suitable for the dams, what this idiot of a doctorate holder is telling us is that each dam will cost about 46,000 cedis on the average. This is a joke. They think they can just throw out figures to deceive us because they think we are that stupid. Perhaps this man is talking about dug-outs. Oh NPP, your lies and deception will be exposed.
