What goes around, comes around, Sir. You cannot set different standards for different candidates for the Presidency. I am not a NDC member. But I'd always insist on fundamental fairness in our Politics. We must uphold honesty and integrity if we hope to turn things around in the Country.

I regret being a former student of Essilfie-Conduah. The man has no idea what he is talking about. The fact that there is a Doctor patient confidentiality agreement, as well as the right to privacy enjoyed by every individual, high profile public servants (like a would-be President) owe the society they wish to serve the obligation to disclose the health status. If they refuse, then society has every right to demand every single iota of truth relating to the health of that would-be public official.

Recent events such as the death of Atta Mills serve as the point of departure for such topics. Nana Akuffu Addo should and must be made to provide details of his health report. It is our right to know

if the person in question is seeking to be a president of a nation then I think it is ethical. the person seeking the highest office should not lie his way to the presidency. others will be ruling the nation not the person who lied his or her way to the job. meanwhile the state will be paying for his treatment. the person might probably die not long after being elected. there are too many implications. I am for presidential aspirants disclosing their health status. especially in Ghana with our experience in the past.
