This man charges Mahama administration of corruption but he is encouraging bribery and corruption by not releasing names.

Is this not the same reverend who stated that he could solve the "DUMSOR" problem in 3 months if he was allowed? I personally do not find his critiques against the government to be critically damning to worth paying $100,000, Trassaco mansion with swimming pool and SUV car bribe to silence him. I don't know what this reverend is up to, to put up such childish lies. He should be forced to release the names to help fight bribery and corruptions, else he is a liar.

What we have seen is one scandal after the other, scandals after the other, scandals upon scandals and now it is being revealed Mahama tried to bribe the Moderator of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana to silence him from talking about the stinking rot that has become of the Mahama NDC administration.
But if you will bribe anybody dos it have to be the Moderator of the Presbyterian Church?
We have seen political desperation but the kind of desperation that has gripped John Dramani Mahama is dangerous and deeply, deeply disturbing.
What kind of desperation is this?
If Mahama can go to this extent to bribe the Moderator of the Presbyterian Church because he could not stand right and correct criticisms about his conduct in office that has collapsed Ghana, it is not strange it is being alleged and peddled within some circles that the near calamity that befell the Veep over the weekend was from a very desperate John Mahama.
It is no wonder the only way Mahama sees his way to the Presidency in this 2016 elections is a desperate prayer and wish for the incoming President of Ghana; William Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo Esq. is afflicted with all sorts of ailments so he goes 6 feet under for him to retain the Presidency.
But in the Great Mighty name of Jesus, it will never happen as Ghanaians in the three Northern regions over the weekend affirmed together with their faith. John Dramani Mahama is the most desperate and failed incumbent Presidential candidate ever, in the history of this country and when it is revealed and he is exposed for this rather devilish attempt to bribe the Moderator of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana, then it is more than clear, the NDC party has a huge problem to address in their party after December 7th. John Mahama losing the elections is more than certain as of today, and nothing under the Sun can change it.

1. Bus branding scandal:

Last year, investigations into the branding of 116 Metro Mass Transit Buses involving GH¢3.6million revealed that the company contracted, Smarttys, over-billed the government to the tune of about GH¢1.9million.

The development provoked public outcry, which compelled the Minister of Transport, Dzifa Attivor, to resign in December.

The government subsequently reached an agreement with Smarttys for the company to return GH¢1,548,608.04 to government chest.

2. Mahama ‘Ford Expedition’ gift scandal

A revelation in June 2016 that President John Mahama received a Ford Expedition vehicle estimated to cost $60,000 from a Burkinabe contractor, Djibril Kanazoe, provoked widespread public outrage.

The businessman was said to have won two contracts worth over GH¢100 million after the president took possession of the vehicle.

The development prompted several opposition political parties and civil society organisations to accuse President Mahama of receiving a bribe. He, however, denied any wrongdoing.

3. GYEEDA Scandal

In 2013, Manasseh Azure Awuni, a reporter for Joy FM, conducted an investigation in the operations of GYEEDA and uncovered massive corruption, which led to policy change in the running of the agency.

The government set up a five-member committee to probe the allegations further. The committee’s report largely corroborated Manasseh’s findings and made various recommendations to government. As part of the reforms, parliament passed a law to regulate the operations of GYEEDA, which was later renamed Youth Employment Agency (YEA).

His investigation also led to the cancellation of all GYEEDA contracts with service providers, except the contract with Zoomlion Limited. This saved the nation millions of cedis.

4. SADA Scandal

In 2014, Manasseh Azure Awuni‘s investigation revealed that the Ghana’s Savannah Accelerated Development Authority (SADA) had misappropriated millions of dollars allocated to it.

The investigations showed that SADA paid GH?32,498,000 to ACICL to plant five million trees in the savannah zone, but could only account for about 700,000 trees.

It also found that SADA spent GH¢15 million on guinea fowls, but could only account for a few of the birds.

The revelation prompted President John Mahama to abrogate SADA’s contracts with Asongtaba Cottage Limited, mangers of the multi-million-cedi guinea fowl project.

5. NSS Scandal

In 2014, officials of the Bureau of National Investigations (BNI) uncovered a GH¢7.9 million deep-rooted rot at the National Service Secretariat (NSS).

Investigations showed that the amount represented the allowance paid to 22,612 non-existent service people in more than 100 districts across the country.

Twenty district directors of the NSS were picked up for their alleged roles in the malfeasance.

6. Judicial corruption scandal

An investigation by journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas in 2015 revealed that about 180 workers in Ghana’s judiciary had been involved in several bribery deals.

Thirty-four judges, comprising 22 lower court judges and 12 High Court judges, along with some court staff, were captured in a video footage extorting bribes from litigants to warp the justice system.

At least 21 circuit court judges and four high court judges were dismissed following the revelations.

7. Brazil 2014 fiasco

Following the failure of the government to pay their $100,000 dollars Brazil 2014 appearance fee on time, players of the Black Stars threatened to boycott Ghana’s last World Cup group game against Portugal.

This compelled the government to send a reported four million dollars in cash on a chartered flight to Brasilia to be disbursed to the team.

The development was the subject of international media coverage, creating huge embarrassment for country.

To add salt to injury, the Black Stars were eliminated for the first time in the group stage at the World Cup.

The government subsequently set up a presidential commission of inquiry to investigate the embarrassing episode.

8. #BrochureGate

A brochure which was distributed during Ghana’s 59th Independence Day celebration at the Black Star Square in March was found to contain several errors.

The brochure, which was characterised by incomprehensible grammatical expressions, poor spellings and a host of other inaccuracies, provoked public outrage.

Among the many mistakes in the brochure was the representation of Kenyan President, Uhuru Kenyatta, as the President of Ghana.

Some of the scandals have implications for the November elections, but President Mahama has attempted to portray them as evidence that his fight against corruption is bearing fruit.

That amount of money can build a decent hospital if we are to go by the figures the Founder of the NDP released a few days ago concerning contracts Mahama has been bloating for illicit gain in this country.
50,000 Euros about 75,000 dollars is what she said was the decent sum needed to build a decent hospital but is bloated to 350,000 Euros about 450,000 dollars by Mahama for thievery.
If he's bringing 100,000 dollars as bribe then it means he has about 1million dollars or even more stashed over there and that 100k dollars wouldn't make much difference to him.
That is what has collapsed this country.

Dear Rev. Prof., you claim that politicians, understandably NDC politicians, tried to bribe you with $US100,000.00 to muzzle you from commenting on national issues. So, my one or a couple of questions for you to answer are, how do you know that the amount was $US100,000.00? Did you count it yourself before you decided to reject it, or did the one handling the envelope just tell you and you believed it was indeed that much money? Remember, $US100,000.00 is a lot of money and one can't just see it and tell how much it is unless one counts it. So, did you count it?

Secondly, why didn't you in your press conference mention the name(s) of the one or those politicians who had attempted to bribe you? Why should we believe your story, especially since it's well known that you're a staunch NPP member---no matter what you may say to the contrary---and that this was your attempt to discredit and damage the NDC's image? Why can we not conclude that your claim is an attempt merely to campaign for your NPP, especially for your idol, Akufo-Addo, and the NPP to win the forthcoming presidential and general elections?

Of course, your NPP members would jubilate over your press conference because they may see your claim as a good campaign strategy since it would be music in their ears. But does your story that the NDC politicians were trying to muzzle you from commenting on national issues make sense? How can they ask you not to speak on national issues? Are those politicians stupid enough to expect that they can bribe a man of God to desist from speaking on national issues? Wouldn't they suppose that you could accept the money and yet continue to speak on national issues?

Please understand that Ghanaians are reasonable people and they won't just buy any story they're told. They often subject to scrutiny every and any such story they're told. So, you must be very careful what you tell us.

> It is the most and the greatest opportunity of Respect And Honour (Honor) to His Excellencies that I further send this Comments And opinion on the Above Subject-Matter in the Most difficult trying moments of the Case of the British Hostages And the actual ground situations Also in the Case of Iran in the Quest to Possess Nuclear Arms/Weapons in the wake of the Clarion Call on All Nations/Countries in the World And Members of the United Nations to seek the Peace And Security of the world. That People of Goodwill are tirelessly working Day and Night to find a lasting And sustainable solutions thereto to not only broker the Peace and to promote Developments, Growth, Progress And the Dignity of People through Peaceful Negotiations And Dialogue to Solve very Sensitive Problems but also to put a lasting stop to the senseless killings in the World as in the Case of Iraq by the Alquadae Terrorists and Sectarian Violence. That, that is the Panacea to the Solutions in the Gulf Regions And the Middle East And the Rest of the World that Conflicts is/are emerging.
That as International Lawyer/Legal Expert/Administrator who has studied both International Law And International Relations, it is no gainsaying the fact that Diplomacy And International Law entailed and required that for Decency, Mutual Respect And Trust of Each Other(s), Parties or Nations/States/countries that have Issues to Resolve in the Context of the Promotion of Global Peace And Security must and should Attempt And Exhaust All Diplomatic Mechanisms/Avenues in Resolving the Problem(s) or the Related Issue(s) on the Virtues And Noble Principles of "Give And Take", Tolerance And Goodwill Gesture(s) of Friendship And through Dialogue to Promote And Enhance on Healthy Deliberations based upon the Noble Aspirations And
Objectives of the United Nations.
That in the Case of the British Hostages that His Excellency Government Alleged that they Entered into the Territorial Waters of Iran has been treated under the United Nations Treaties And Conventions that there Exists some Clear Milleage from the International Waters And that of a Nation's Territorial Waters. That the Fact still remains that Iran is not at War with Great Britain And that there should clearly exist Between Iran And the Rest of the World Goodwill And Good Faith Trust Since Iran is a Bona fide Member of the United Nations, the World Organization that Matters of International Concerns Are Addressed And Resolved, if the Parties themselves cannot Resolve it Amicably Between themselves. That the fact that the British Hostages have not committed Any Aggression Against Iran And its People that Diplomacy should be given the Chance to Work out And Resolve the Problem Amicably through Dialogue.
That I keenly Observed the Hon. Foreign Minister of Iran Presenting the Case of Iran at the United Nations Security Council on the Nuclear Power/Arms Case After the Vote And that the Foreign Minister clearly made the Case that Iraq under Saddam Hussein Attacked Iran Twice And Used Chemical Weapons Against the People of Iran. That if that Assessment is True, then it suggested to Any Reasonable Person(s) that Iraq under Saddam Hussein really posed Treat And Danger to not only its Neighbours (Neighbors) taking the Case of Iraq invading Kuwait just for Kuwait to be liberated by the United States of America under the Able Leadership of President George H. Bush, the Father of President George W. Bush under whose Able Leadership Again that the Treat And the Danger Saddam Hussein Iraq posed to its Own People (People of Iraq), immediate Neighbours (Neighbors) And the world.
That Taking Cognizance of these Related Assessments of Facts which are really factual then the removal of Saddam Hussein from Power And the Emerging Democracy in Iraq that is the catalyst that will Promote Peace, Security And Stability in the Gulf Region, the Middle East And the World should not be seen by Iran as a Treat to Iran, But Rather must be seen in Good Faith as a Step in the Right Direction that will lead to Growth, Development, Progress, Peace, Security And Stability not only in the Region, But the World at large.
That what Actually is Iran Afraid of if the Enemy in the Region has/had been removed and the Treat Removed then it behooves on Decency, Truth And Honesty that there is Nothing for Iran to Fear Again. That if there should be Anything to fear then it is the "FEAR ITSELF".
That the real enemy of Iraq has been defeated by the capture of the Brutal Dictator And murderer of Iraqi People And the triumph of the Rule of Law in Iraq heralded by the Trial and Conviction of Saddam Hussein. That the fact of the matter is that the wagering war on-going in Iraq is not war against Iran And Iraq but war against the enemies of Iran And Iraq who are dotted all over the Geo-Political Territorial Boundaries of Iran And Iraq and are Alquadae Terrorists And Suicide bombers who are not fighting under the Command and Control Command Structure of Iran And Iraq Armed forces or the Allied Forces and therefore make the fight of the war very intricately difficult since it is difficult to differentiate the real friends and lovers of Iran And Iraq and the enemies of the Iran And Iraqi People within Iran And Iraq Geo-Political Territorial Boundaries.
That Unless Iran Proved the Contrary that Iran will be Afraid of the Coalition Forces fighting to liberate Iraq And to Promote Peace, Stability And Security in the Region And to Make the World a Safe Place. That the "Onus" or the Burden of Proof now shifted to Iran to Declare And to Show its Goodwll And Good Faith Dealings with its Neighbours (Neighbors) Especially Iraq in the Region And to Release the British Hostages UNCONDITIONALLY TO PAVE WAY TO GOODWILL DEMONSTRATION OF FRIENDSHIP AND TO SHOW THE OLIVE BRANCH LEAF OF PEACE.
That the on-going war is now being fought in various stages and phases.
That the Phase One was the overthrow of Saddam Hussein that at that time the fight was against Saddam Hussein Command And Control Armed Forces and that the victory was very swift.
However, the fight now is against the Alquadae Terrorists within the Territory of Iraq And at the same time it behooves upon both Allied forces and Iraqi forces to protect the Iraqi People while they engaged the
insurgents at the same time making the task very difficult.
That the tricks of the Enemy is to turn the war to Sectarian violence which the Government and People of Iraq and the Allied forces must/should do everything to prevent such occurrence. But that the great thrust of the matter depend on the Government And People of Iraq to prevent the Sectarian Violence at all costs.
That the First President of Ghana, the late Dr. Kwame Nkrumah even though I disagreed with Him in some related ways but agreed with Him in His words of Wisdom and I quote, "IN THE PAST THE SAHARA HAS DIVIDED US, BUT TODAY IT UNITES US AN INJURY TO ONE OF US IS AN INJURY TO ALL OF US".
That under the context quoted,That the First President of Ghana, Dr.Kwame Nkrumah made the Statement at the Day of Ghana Indepence. He further Stated that "THE INDEPENDENCE OF GHANA IS MEANINGLESS UNLESS IT IS LINKED UP WITH THE TOTAL LIBERATION OF AFRICA." That, that culminated in the Formation of the Organization of African Unity, Now transformed to Africa Union.
That under this Context "If Iraq has been divided in the Past because of the Dictatorship exhibited by Saddam Hussein, Today His Removal And Trial And Conviction for his Crimes committed against the Iraqi People And His Neighbours(Neighbors) including Iran And Kuwait should unite them as People in the same Region with the Same Emerging Democracy Aspirations with a Common Destiny to Protect And Defend the New Emerging World Order of Unity in Diversity to Promote And Enhance upon Sustainable Peace, Stability, Economics Prosperity And the Pursuits of Happiness".
That at this Backdrop, it therefore behooves on Iran to Demonstrate the Goodwill Gesture of Freewill Statesmanship of Friendship to release the
British Hostages unconditionally to pave the Way Forward for Dialogue And on the Noble Virtues of "GIVE AND TAKE", MUTUAL TRUST AND RESPECT FOR EACH AND UNDER GOLDEN VIRTUES OF TOLERANCE AND LOVE FOR THE WELL-BEINGS OF ALL PEOPLE TO LIVE IN PEACE , UNITY IN DIVERSITY AND DIGNITY.
That His Excellency Himself being a Product of Democracy through the Franchise System (Ballot Box) in a Free And Fair Elections should be seen as the Protector And Defender of Democracy in the Gulf And Middle East Regions.
That President Abraham Lincoln Dictum of Democracy that is the Accepted Definition(s) Amongst others All over the World states as follows:
"GOVERNMENT OF THE PEOPLE BY THE PEOPLE AND FOR THE PEOPLE". That the Essence of Politics is "TO PROMOTE THE GOOD OF THE PEOPLE" And that His Excellency should consider to Seek the Best Interest of the People, First, in Securing their Well-Beings Economically And Further their Interest And Aspirations in Promoting Economics Growth, Prosperity, Development, And the Pursuits of Happiness that is the "Sine qua non" of the Economics Indicators of a Prosperous Nation/Country Rather than Military Might. That the Path of Might is only and only, if there is Mis-Trust of Each other, Dictatorship And Tyranical Regimes that Posed serious Treats to the Peace And Security of the World. That Honestly Should the International Community to Perceived Iran as such a Country? That in the Best Judgements (Judgments) And My Estimations that the Answer to the Rhetorical Question should be obviously "A BIG NO".
That the United Nations Aspirations And Objectives is/are to Promote World Peace, Global Stability And Global Economics Prosperity And to Promote the Good of the People. That if Iran undertakes the Golden Paths of Friendship with the Rest of the World And the International Community then it is a Trite Knowledge that the Need for Nuclear Arms is a Non starter And unneccessary.
That there is no Society which is Immuned to Social Change since Change is a dynamic functions of Society that New Ideas Emerging And Old Ideas (orders) are fading Away to Promote Development, Growth, Progress And Co-operation based upon the Principles of Unity in Diversity And Inter-Dependency.
This is because No Society is Totally Independent on its own And that Inter-Dependence is the function(s) of Nations/Countries/Societies even on Individual Personal Relationships.
That Iran Stands to Gain Enormously from the International Community if Iran Considers to thrive on Peace, Unity in Diversity, Dialogue, Friendship, Co-operation, Mutual Trust And Respect, Economics Prosperity than the Choice of Violence that leads to Human sufferings, Miseries, Death, Deprivations, Isolation And lost of Lifes And Property And Eventually War which God should forbid in the Supreme Best Interest of the People of Iran. That Personal/Partisan Interests must/should yield to National And International Interests for the sake of Peace.
That Saddam Hussein made that mistake And I urged His Excellency And the Government of Iran not to make the same Mistake but should Open up herself to the International Community And Show the Good Faith And Goodwill Acts of Friendship And Release the Hostages Unconditionally And to Consider to Abandon the Nuclear Arms Power Ambition Completely as North Korea And Libya did And to Open the Golden Doors to Dialogue for the United Nations Security Council And the United States of America to lift the Sanctions imposed on Iran.
God Richly Bless His Excellency, Government of Iran And the People of Iran for Goodwill Understanding to Prevail in the Matter.
