4 years are adequate to evaluate a president and reward him for 4 more years. Not all presidents will be stella. Some of them will tank and no one ones to live under stress ad infinitum.

We need mid-terms elections out of the 4 years to get rid of nonsense in the governance system quickly because in the first 2 weeks you will have a good idea whether the administration will be full of nonsense or not. You don't need 6 years to determine a nonsense administration so mid-term elections is the way to go.
It is a more pragmatic and realistic approach that imposes a sense of responsibility on any incoming gov't and ties in with the directive principles of state policy. Let's be clear once again. Within 2 weeks of an administration taking over the reigns of governance, the indicators of whether it will be a totally nonsense administration is utterly apparent.

The constitution which allows any president to leave office with mounting debts, corruption and thievery should be amended or re-written. If an extension is what Abu Sakara is asking for, then he might as well propose or ask for 10 years. Ghanaians are not ready to allow that because it's dangerous to Ghana's progress.

By the time, you are sworn, you should be ready to appoint a cabinet in 3 days and get going.

Now we are only trying to say we need the stability you sought; we now realize it is the only atmosphere under which we can move FORWARD EVER.
