Your comment appears to be the most likely motive behind the resignation. I was wondering, after reading the news, that if the reason was correct then she should have resigned long ago for about 100 days was long enough for her to have overcome the shock and trauma that the tragic death of her MP had allegedly brought her: she surely cannot be said to having shedding tears more than the immediate family who might have gotten over it somehow by now. And the directive that no person should transact business with her any longer in the name of the party and the attempt to calm the nerves of the party faithfuls in the constituency are pointers to the fact that the reason for her resignation could not be true. Truth cannot be hidden.
