Kwasia, was it NDC that told the moderator to hold press conference some months to election or was it the NDC that said he was bribed and indeed he took the money and the car? Kwasia, if you get problem go and address it and not NDC. In any case no one has attacked the Presbyterian church but an individual politician in priest attire. The Presby will church will continue to be a church of integrity with or without the NPP politician of a moderator

  Prof. Martey accepted the $100k BRIBE as far back as 2013,at the premises or home of an opposition politician, in return for pushing the political agenda of the said party in the pulpits of the Presby Church! So this present effort, by this 'savvy' old Cleric, to smear the current administration, is plain political mischief, and should be seen in that light!
  Now supposing without conceding the point that the NDC, or for that matter any politician from other parties, has attempted to "bribe" Prof. Martey, can it not be safely argued that this 'Man of God', had already 'advertised' himself as being
  available to any politician or political party, which could 'sweeten'
  the deal he been offered in the past, and which he [Prof. Martey] had accepted with "glee"?
  And again, who was this supposedly 'neutral' outgoing Moderator seen with, and openly endorsing,in recent times?
  Prof. Martey and other top Clergymen, who have clearly taken sides in our political discourse, have made their own beds, and must gladly lie in them! This 'nonsense' about some Churches, not going to look on haplessly as the country sinks or falls apart, is simply hogwash!

  Politicians are fighting the Church not because of the truth they uphold. But the hypocrisy and double standard posture of the Church. Pastors should stop hiding behind the pulpit to engage in politics.

He was a leader and God expected more from him that an ordinary church members. If Mantey can step so low and politicians are descending on him, what do you think God himself will do. As a country (not politicians)we are interested in knowing the politicians he claimed tried to bribe him and WHY he did not make a report to the police.As it stands now he has a credibility problem with all discerning Ghanaians.

And I want to assure you that what you are saying has to do with the reaction from politicians regarding the vague and the irresponsible allegations made by the outgoing Moderator,Reverend Marteys bribe saga,which defies common sense,morality,and law.So if men of want to be respected,then they should live within the boundaries of the bible,that is all.

Remember those pastors r not God n as such Owusu Bempah should be treated like a politician, he recently collected a new Jeep from one of his corrupt pastors as birthday gift will he describe it as a bribe. What did he do to deserve such gift from a mere pastor? Please pastors r not God for that matter they should be treated like civilians if they commit a crime.
