I am a Presbyterian and I am disappointed that pro. Matey didn't report the bribery allegations until now. The timing, especially election time makes it appeared he is out to campaign for npp even if what he said is true. Npp should be worried as such strategy can backfire. Both ndc and npp should edge pro. Matey to mention the bribe giver for the police to commence investigation. As it stands now, it would be myopic to just believe one side of the story considering what the former pro said about the bribe. Who is telling us the truth, only God and provide. Matey and Dr. Agyampong knows. However, it seems to me that it is too early to call for pro. Matey's resignation from the peace council. The failure of pro. Matey to disclose the perpetrators of the bribery attempt will mean that he is very divisive and not fit to participate in the peace council. For now he should be given the chance to reflect and come out and defend his himself. After all the former pro has challenged him to do so.

If he was truely a man of God before, then now he has dirt himself with the desire to earn wealth from this world, and so when going wrong too, he couldn't tell himself what wrong he was doing. No one is calling for Ghana his resignation but the way he is going by his words at this crucial campaign moment makes it so.Just imagine such a noble man coming out this crucial time leveling bribery allegations against Nana Addo which occurred maybe 3 years back. What will come in some of you's mind is that he is doing that to destabilise Nana's campaign. This so perceived npp 's angel had the chance to publicly reprimand who ever brought the bribe to him at that time but didn't do so because his intention is to damage the image of Mahama 's administration during campaigns. My last word to him is that he should know that he is a man of God not a man of men and he shoul be impartial and non-partisan and stick to his call both in truth and in spirit. If prof really knows that he is not serving the interest of any party then the God he is serving will bless him but if is doing all this with any other party's affiliation in his mind, that same God who has the interest of the whole nation at heart will severely punish him and put him to shame before all ghanaians one day.
