I guess you have to appreciate the level of corruption at the lower level of ECG to know the problem facing ECG.
  I dare you do you work and do you think a world class organisation can behave the way ECG and all its components and employees are working.
  Please carry out a survey and you will understand the level of aparthy towards their demand. The last research conducted suggest a whooping 60% think it should be privatized.
  I want what is happening in the Telecom sector to take place in the Power sector.

  ECG Concession to Private Owners is the best thing to do in this 21st century.If Management and workers of the ECG cannot draw a short and long term plan to solve the dumsor problem that have engulf the nation and collapse most businesses in Ghana,it is not worth to do to politics with it when Government has taken a drastic step for concession.why are the workers agitating if they are really doing the right thing and want the development of this Nation. Instead of finding a lasting solution to the problem,they sit back and declare a one week strike to solve the problem.......hmmm...is very funny.This only happen in Ghana and not in Abroad.Let stop the politics and find a strategic plan to solve this.No amount of agitation and strike and politics would help address this problem. Analyse the electrical power systems of USA, Japan & Germany. Compare these to Ghana & Nigeria. The difference is clear; we have to copy or imitate these 3 efficient mega-power generators by inviting technology-rich investor participation!!! No law guarantees "employment forever"!
