  Will Nana Addo go to the classrooms to teach the children? Since this issue of failure started it is only today that I see teachers admitting that they were not doing enough to help the children pass their exams with good grades. All was always about the market premium of their salaries. How can we live in a country like this? Blaming government for problems that we have created for ourselves. Anytime we create an unpleasant situation we are looking for where to push it too. Government is always the dumping ground for those things. Am happy teachers are now seeing that they are part of the causes of students failure in exams.

  What was wrong with the old system. Couldnt we have tweeked it. We now have dumb asses in all levels of our educational system. Fix this shit asap

Though the 3 years is not enough, some of the teachers are not serious. Go to some of the schools, teachers demanding much from students but not working to satisfaction. There is more room for improvement.

  I don't know why some people lack common sense, teachers are interested in trading because their monthly take home is nothing compared to the cost of living, ask yourself, for the past four years how many times and by what percentage has the government increase teachers salary? But look at utility tariffs, cost of food items, school fees and you sit there talking of room for improvement when the landlord has not improved on the house? My friend, I am telling you that, you are going to see worse performance if the government does not satisfy teachers

I keep on saying that teacher association executive s always fail to articulate the problem and likely their palms are either greased allegation or irresponsibility

  Was thinking GNAT would have tasked our president and his appointees to never send their children to foreign schools. That's the only way they will pay serious attention to our education. To call on the frustrated teachers to up their efforts would not yield much results if basic facilities are provided by the politicians.

  GNAT top leaders do not qualify for any gov.negotiations just as basic certificate teachers in shs and tvet schools and are the major cause of challenges of both teachers and students . GNAT should allow NTC core mandate to work,the only true way to bring shs wassce students failure to near zero. GNAT is the cause of wassce student failure for failing to advise members and gov.to respect certification.I wonder how they managed to get to the top as executive members of the noble profession ,teaching association just like some appointed HODs in shs.And lie to issue them letters for holding the office because of absence of qualified teachers for the position. Everything said here does not make any good impact to my understanding.
