HND is not a degree but a diploma. Maybe you should call for HND holders to be included in the recruitment of other ranks (junior officers) but placed above SSSCE holders maybe start at rank of Corporal or Sergeant. That way ...

HND is not a degree but a diploma. Maybe you should call for HND holders to be included in the recruitment of other ranks (junior officers) but placed above SSSCE holders maybe start at rank of Corporal or Sergeant. That way it be fair since HND holders are of tertiary status. This us what pertains in CEPS where the officer corps is for graduates only and not diploma holders. Those with bachelor of technology degrees (B.TECH) from Polytechnics are those qualified and I don't think HND holders are suggesting that HND has the same weight as B.TECH degree from their seniors from the polytechnic
