WHY mAHAMA IS LYING

Not in any particular order, the three factors are:
I. Rising Public Debt. The escalating rate of public debt growth as measured by debt-to-GDP ratio data is a subject that has fostered a lot of controversy. From December 31st, 2008 to date, Ghana’s debt to GDP ratio has increased from 32.3% to roughly 70% (Note that by benchmarking against GDP, several variables that normally interfere when comparing economic variables at different points of time disappear.).

In contrast, Nigeria has a debt to GDP ratio of about 13%. Cote D’Ivoire has a debt to GDP ratio of about 42%. Kenya has a debt to GDP ratio of about 52%. IMF Debt sustainability analysis show that over the medium-term horizon all three countries have a declining profile of total public debt to GDP ratio.

These are some of the key countries we are typically grouped with when investors are sizing up frontier economies. That we are not only such a glaring outlier today but is projected to get worse should worry us immensely. As we will show later, the trajectory of our debt growth is far from benign. This factor is a major determinant of the fiscal leeway of the NDC government.

Mr. Mahama and his looting brigade are not interested in priorities like revenue generating ventures that would ease the suffering of Ghanaians. What they are interested in is prestigious signature consumption projects for the enjoyment of few ruling elites, regardless of whether the inflated projects are priorities and value for money or not. I wonder how they would even account for the $40 billion borrowed so far to land our country in HIPIC and bankruptcy. Did the insensitive, corrupt and incompetent NDC government think, despite the massive corruption and incompetence, they can borrow recklessly and spend their way foolishly into another mandate in 2016 to go on plundering our limited resources, while the nation is over burdened with HIPC and workers wallowing in hunger?

Governance under the NDC government is all about 'opium of the people'. They enjoy everything under the sun but keep on asking us to wait for our basic needs in heaven. And as they are asking us to tighten our belts for future betterment, they have already loosened theirs for immediate consumption. They didn't even respect our intelligence when they said there would be paradise in Ghana if we gave them another mandate after the 2016 elections. The truth is that, everything they promise is a mirage and we will never find comfort under them because; they are con-men with con plans.

Why should a country be afraid of debt ? That's. Why it's a country, collectively if all the proposed ideas seem good and will benefit our country, WHY SHOULD WE BE AFRAID OF DEBT ?

Rather unfortunately, our chief's , unlike China that owns its lands used as collateral by Government, our Chiefs sell our lands, keep the monies in their pockets, do no development in their areas, expecting Government that owns no land to to do the developments on the same lands they have sold and pocketed the monies. The problem with this manifesto is if one goes back to 2008 through to this 2016 manifesto of the totally incompetent and corrupt Mahama NDC gov't, all these promises outlined in this 2016 manifesto are captured in the 2008 and 2012 manifestos combined.
The reality is, nothing has come out of the 2008 and 2012 manifestos of the NDC and nothing, absolutely nothing is coming out of Mahama's 2016 manifesto.
Because as the Auditor General's report and other reports from Parliament, PIAC, CSO'S etc, etc have proven, under the 8 years of the Mills-Mahama-Amissah-Arthur NDC administration, mindless looting and thievery and incompetence on a scale to be described as fundamentally inconsistent and at complete variance with any principles and objectives of socioeconomic growth and development has burdened this country even as the stock of debt piles up.
Currently the economic crisis has triggered a situation where, Ghana has collapsed on the manifestos of 2008+2012 of the NDC gov't led by Mahama, and it remains to be seen how a rehashed manifesto of 2016, hinged on the manifestos of 2008 and 2012 which has collapsed Ghana's economy and this country, would magically fix the very rot it has caused.
Clearly Mahama has no respect for suffering Ghanaians, whose conditions have been brought on by the incompetence, corruption and thievery, mismanagement and lack of vision and failed promises of their manifestos since 2008.
There is no respect by the NDC party and gov't for the Ghanaian electorate. There is no respect for the intelligence of Ghanaians by Mahama and his NDC looting and incompetent machinery, no respect at all. And in this election, Ghana must teach the Mahama NDC gov't how to respect we the citizenry. Ghana must teach the Mahama NDC gov't to learn to respect we the citizenry. Ghana must teach the Mahama NDC gov't they will be forced to respect the intelligence of we, the citizenry. The poppycock of this Mahama 2016 manifesto has hare to the dustbin of history just as a similar fate awaits him at the ballot box at 15:00 GMT prompt on December 7th 2016.

In my opinion, the shared contents of the NDC manifesto by President Mahama is the only sensible gateway to develop Ghana. Everyone needs money to enhance his/her life, and Ghana needs money to implement projects in order to progress and create a much better life for the people. Akosombo, Tema Harbour & Industrial City, Fishing Harbour, TOR, Valco and other projects came to life and created jobs, but money was paid to get them done, so if the country needs $24bn to develop, we must take the challenge. Ghana can only move forward if we take the plans in the manifesto shared by the President. Is the only reasonable way.

I thought you said you were going to quantify each promise made by the political parties. A ballpark random sum of all the hoax promises, indeed phantom promises made by the Mahamafias do not add up. Where is your objectivity?
