It is unacceptable, global economic pressures have led the government to take us to the path we uncomfortably find ourselves. During the Ndc last eight years, commodity prices of our exports have held steady. Added on, is very low crude oil price. Which in the period of the previous government, was at its highest.....$147.00 per barrel. Crude oil price has now dropped to its lowest in decades, now below $50.00 per barrel. Therefore, the Ndc government need not find a lot more money to purchase oil for our use locally. Besides, through the NPP competence, oil was found in commercial quantities for the first time in the nation's history. The Ndc government is the beneficiary of the find. Over five billion dollars have accrued to this government in the last four years. Why are they complaining then of global difficulties? It does not exist. It is sheer incompetence and corruption that have brought Ghana to its knees and no blame games should be used here. It is all too clear. Short and simply, will anyone dispute the figures Bawumia has put out?
