In any civilized democratic country the Minister of Interior and the Police Chief would have left office long ago because; they failed miserably in the discharge of their duties to the people of mother Ghana.

Immediately after the violence at Talansi, NDC officials started to propagate deceitfully that it was a mob fight between the supporters of NDC and NPP, and the Interior Minister shamefully joined in to say that "violence begets violence". Yet, the Minister forgot that it was his duty to investigate the matter thoroughly through the security forces and tell Ghanaians who actually caused the problem, since arms and thumb-printed ballot papers were confiscated from some people at the crime scene.

These exhibits could have led us to the real criminals and masterminds behind the stuffing of ballot boxes and shootings at the constituency. But, our unprofessional police preferred to toe the line of those in power, and claimed that they were going to prosecute ghosts rather than follow the available leads. In the last suicide bombing at a mosque in Kuwait, the security officers identified and arrested the owner of the car that took the suicide bomber to the mosque and followed it up with arrest of the driver. From that point, the investigations led to the masterminds and accomplishes of the heinous crime.

The question is why didn't our security forces investigate the leads that could have lead us to the bigger picture, rather than gloss over them as if they confiscated the AK-47s, cutlasses and thumb-printed ballot papers from the air? Our security forces and the government including Mr. Woyongo are trying to bury the truth between Azorka boys and Bolga Bull Boys, and blindfold Ghanaians in order to cover the government's own tracks in the violence meant to steal the verdict of Ghanaians again. Ghanaians deserve better than the dirty tricks of this NDC government.

When a government shared AK47s, pistols, axes and matches among its thugs to maim and kill opposition leaders in order to ensure full intimidation at Talensi, what do you think the degree of pressure and intimidation was on the villagers? And when years of accumulated stolen wealth from percentages of inflated projects, judgment debts and direct use of government money from ghost projects like SADA are shared among poor gullible voters, what do you expect?

Moreover, if NDC supporters were caught with thumb-printed ballot papers to rig the elections at Talensi, how many of them were able to pass through undetected or allowed to pass through for stuffing the ballot boxes in favour of the NDC party? I believe you haven't yet forgotten that they used 5 billion dollars of our money outside the budget in 2012 to buy the conscience of gullible voters either. The good news is that, Ghanaians are determined not to allow NDC steal their verdict again in December.

NDC will do anything to rig the elections in order to remain in power fraudulently. This has been their practice since the Rawlings era in the 90s, and he himself displayed crocodile tears as a result of the violence perpetrated by his party at Talensi in the Upper East. It was the precursor of things to come in the 2016 elections that Mr. Mahama hinted about, and we now know they are going be fought with AK47s, pistols, daggers, axes, machetes, bribery and intimidation. I, therefore, advise all our people to be more vigilant and resolute in their defense of democracy in Ghana. Without free and fair elections, we can easily find ourselves in another one party state like the one we suffered from under Kwame Nkrumah.

Nkrumah was in power for sixteen years and turned himself into a president for life when he realized that his popularity had waned. In the sixties, and after he had squandered the huge reserves, the country started to go down the slope and Ghanaians visibly yearned for a change. But since Nkrumah had shut all the doors and channels that could have been used by Ghanaians to exercise their political will of changing him democratically through the ballot box, they had no choice other than to force him out of office through a military coup. Therefore, the coup that removed Kwame Nkrumah from office was the only legitimate coup in the history of Ghana.

There are two issues I want to point out in this article for peaceful elections.
The reporter stated "said to be NDC supporters". This means there is no certainty in the reportage. However, in the course of the report he makes statements to confirm that they are NDC supporters. Issues of this kind must be reported with certainty and facts and NOT issues of allegations.

Secondly, all who are identified to be the brains behind any hooliganism MUST be dealt with irrespective of their political divide. If such firm steps are taken and dealt with approriately and timely, people will be deterred from such acts.
Immediate action must be taken against all implicated in this particular case.

Well, God created you and me equally and gave us the same brains so you have your fundamental human rights to use your brain the way you want it. When a man loses an eye in an unecessary brawl in support of a political party, he can borrow one from his party leaders so this chimp who lost an eye in an ndc and npp free for all fight do not have problem at all. If he is an ndc staunch supporter, he can easily borrow one of Mahama's eye and if he is a die hard npp supporter, he can call on Akuffo Addo to remove one of his eyes for him to replace his butchered eye. John Mahama has armed the ndc to cause mayhem to ensure his re-election, fair or foul, and the only thing left for the npp is to arm themselves for any eventuality throughout the country.
