I went to Ghana about 3 weeks ago with KLM. I am not NDC however I have to give credit to the authorities for the streamlining of the arrival procedures and the improvement at the arrival hall. Right from passport control to collecting luggage, it was really smooth sailing and a breeze. Gone were all the many people that hang out there. I was blown away at the customs. It used to be such a nightmare with so many custom officers and all that happen there were bribes upon bribes. I only met two custom officers there and if there is no mark on your bag, you just walk right through with no harassment. I was highly, highly impressed.

Nothing to do with the state budget. I believe the only way ndc nay have a part to play will be by way of being fully and directly engaged in the works contracts. Hence the inflated sum of money for "do little" upgrading. After all, kwakye ofosu (the town crier) has sounded the gongons. A lttle big something for the cadres must flow. Scavengers at work.
