The problem of Mr. Incompetent is that he doesn't seem to know that the misguided spending spree of Nkrumah and his squandering of our reserves was the beginning of our economic woes. He was also a blood-thirsty communist dictator that declared himself president for life and demonized the opposition. Like Kwame Nkrumah, Mahama didn't grow our economy. He only borrowed more money to land our nation in HIPC, received more money from oil and higher taxes to waist on unnecessary inflated projects. Moreover, he cannot even account for greater part of the infrastructure money. Ghanaians too are suffering, and the best way to describe Mahama is very, very corrupt and incompetent.

I wonder what he means by Nkrumah was not a thief but he was wrong for giving money to countries like Guinea to practice socialism,if you take somebody's property that does not belong to you and give it to another person without authorization that is stealing,Nkrumah may not have stolen our money to build mansions but he was a thief like any other thief,nobody authorized him to give our money to Guinea and others,what he did was stealing which makes him a thief,the money he stole for those stupid things was more than what others stole to build mansions but the difference is that those mansions are in Ghana,they made the country looks beautiful but his stolen money went to other countries which made him more criminal than those who built the mansions with the money.

When will Prof Ocquaye stop feeding ghanaians with historical lies?.He is saying that Nkrumah gave Guinea and Mali financial aid to support socialism.This is absolutely untrue.Osagyefo gave the monies to the two countries to prevent their economies from collapsing when France withdrew all financial support to these two countries for opting for independence from France.France never wanted to grant independence to any of their overseas territories in west africa and the withdrawal of economic support for Mali and Guinea was to warn other countries not to follow Mali and Guinea's example.France even took away from these two countries telephone facilities and some railway stocks serving these two countries.I hope in addition to the financial help Prof Ocquaye will agree with me that Osagyefo also sent old railway engines to Mali and Guinea to keep their railways running.I advise Prof Ocquaye not to be economical with the truth whenever he talks about the political history of Ghana.The best historians are known for their impartiality and objectivity.

Even countries in Europe like Britain, Germany, France, Netherland etc. all had SOE's up until the mid 90's. It was Margaret Thatcher who after 1979 started liberalization of the trade and markets in the UK which saw many labour unions in the steel and manufacturing industries dismantled and thrown into disarray. Back then in 60s and 70s Britain was IMF and WB candidate just as we are today. Why are these idiots deliberately throwing dust into the eyes of the youth?

The Danquah/Busia tradition is full of myth, lies and treasonists. The late Peter Ala Adjatey once put it blunt during Kufuor tenure - Nkrumah knew what he was doing. Does the NPP do?

Apart from the sugar and shoe factory from Czech none of the 69 factories Nkrumah built and strategically positioned in Ghana had its origin from the east block of the cold war times. So could anyone tell me what was wrong with having over 100 state farms which gave Ghanaians work within their towns and proximities? There was no congestion in the urban towns like Accra, Kumasi, Tadi, Kdua etc.

The 1980s was the period of Thatcherism and Reaganomics so for these psuedo profs like Ocquaye and Adei to claim that Nkrumah was a practicing communism or socialist ideas which they don't know which to settle for flies against any logic of social market economy which is even today still practiced in Germany, Sweden etc. Most of Germany's giant firms like the Deutsche Telecom and DB railways system were until the late 90s state owned. Look the Ghanaian youth today have no more excuse to remain ignorant. You can look up anything on your powerful smartphones. Most of these Ghanaian profs are lazy thinkers who have little experience in the business world. Ocquaye and Adei both entered UG in 1968 and were beneficiaries of Nkrumah's free educational system which gave allowances not only to trainees like nurses or teachers but also to varsity students at Legon.

Damn these guys are ungrateful and lost in a maze of stupidity. Look Nkrumah didn't make empty talk like today's politrickcians. Nkrumah followed it through with deeds. Nkrumah bailed out Guinea and Mali because they were economically and financially being strangulated by France whose motto of liberty, equality and fraternity was only meant for the French people but not black Africans who were looking for the same freedom the French fought for in the 18th century. Kwame Nkrumah did not only talk about African unity. When it came to taking action he delivered. Guinea, Mali, Congo are few examples. Nkrumah lives! Africa must unite.

Prof Quaye said: For him, Nkrumah’s socialist policy was wrong because “state industries were seen as everybody’s industry and, therefore, nobody’s industry”.

That is the view of poor Ghanaians and Africans who make Ghana and Africa poor by their poor leadeship in order to make themselves important critics.
