The higher institutions that suppose to give us the knowledge of benefits of organic farming are the so busy taking bribes from USAID ( last year Legon took money from USAID) for the experimenting of GMO. Monsanto, a corporate giant in chemical GMO is using the USAID thru the local embassies to corrupt institute of higher learnings to compromise their stance against GMO.
And while France and the Nerderlands are making money in organic exports, the same countries are busy importing into Ghana GMO seeds and busily paying for workshops to miseducate our young farmers on how these dangerous seeds can give them more yields.
WAKE UP GHANA. YOUR WHITE FRIENDS DO NOT HAVE YOUR BEST INTEREST AT HEART.
But only hungry and lazy people take their enemies as friends due to hand-outs.

THE PROBLEM FACING THE AGRICULTURAL SECTOR STEMS FROM THE FACT,ILLITERATE PEASANT FARMERS ARE THE ONES, THAT CONTINUES FOOD PRODUCTS TO FEED THE NATION, WHILE, THE SO CALLED EDUCATED WITH AGRICULTURAL DEGREES AND PHD TITLES CONTINUE TO IDLE AT THE PUBLIC UNIVERSITIES AS PROFESSORS, LECTURERS AND AT THE MINISTRY OF AGRICULTURE,REGIONAL AND DISTRICT OFFICES FOR NON PRODUCTIVE PRACTICAL WORK TO BOOST FARMING IN THER COUNTRY.
HOW MANY EDUCATED AND TRAINED AGRICULTURALISTS DO FARM IN THE COUNTRY.
UNLESS THE MANY EDUCATED AND TRAINED AGRICULTURALISTS CHANGE THEIR THINKING, WE STLL HAVE LONG WAY TO BOOST AGRICULTURAL PRODUCTIVITY IN THE COUNTRY.
SAD WITHOUT FURTHER WORDS.

Guys, what stops us from using the Internet to learn more about organic farming & how to compost to get rich humus for ur organic garden? Just google organic gardening & how to compost. This is no nuclear physics.
Dr. Ofosu Budu should set up demonstration stations to teach & create awareness on organic agriculture and composting and their benefits.

WAKE UP, NO MORE SLEEPING IN BED.
JOHN F.KENNEDY IN HIS INAUGURAL ADDRESS IN 1961, HAD THIS TO SAY HIS FELLOW AMERICANS-
YOU CANNOT EXPECT WHAT THE GOVERNMENT CAN DO FOR YOU BUT WHAT YOU CAN DO FOR THE GOVERNMENT.
IN GHANA, IT IS THE OPPOSITE, WHERE THE GOVERNMENT HAS TO CATER FOR THE VULNERALBLE AND THE NOISY EDUCATED WITH BIG DEGREES AND PHD TITLES.
ARE THESE FOLKS NOT ASHAMED OF THEMSELVES FOIR THEIR LOW PRODUCTIVITY IN THE COUNTRY.
