Some of us like to draw conclusion without thinking twice,I said from the beginning this story does not make sense,I said they have been in relationship but something happened that night resulting in the penis bite,no man who has no relationship with you will come to you that late night with a bag full of dirty clothes for you to wash for him, there is no way that man being the boss may not have even talked to her not being in love with her will go to her house that late night just to force himself on her,they need to ask her if that was the first time he was bringing clothes to her house for washing, even her neighbors may help if the man has been coming to her or if they suspect somebody has been coming to her in the night whenever the boyfriend was not around, she is not telling the truth.
It could be that this girl found out that the man was cheating on her or has another relationship with somebody else and decided to teach him a lesson that if he loses the penis which is the problem the man will not do what he was doing again.
Allowing the man who was raping you to play romance with you for three good minutes before you react and then call for help when you think the man who was raping you will lose his life instead of raising alarm or calling the police does not make sense to even a toddler,the girl is not making sense,telling her he is the commander he can get whatever he wants is not a threat,that should not compel any serious minded woman to give in to alleged rapist.
This girl having done this which she knew people will know resulting in her boyfriend knowing what happened decided to frame up the story to look like she was a victim in a sexual assault.
Playing romance for three minutes,sex has taken place,only that there may not have been a penetration but there was sexual act,who knows if they even had sexual intercourse before this incident.

Ghanaian girls are just becoming funny people,not very smart when their sexual acts go bad,this is just like the recent one whose Nigerian boyfriend and landlord died in her room in her absence who said the man forcefully had sex with her but when she was leaving for work she left a note for him to lock the door because he was sleeping when she left for what work.
Who does such a thing,allowing somebody who raped you to relax in your room comfortably while you go to work leaving all your properties in his care,the rapist?

Do you remember a short while ago, something similar happened in Koforidua between a lady health worker and a priest. In that allegded story, the lady took a reasonable and also a proportionate step. She refused to have sex with the priest, but was able to expose him. Ethically it is not sound for the commander to befriend the lady,but it takes someone who is spiritually possessed to behave the way the lady did. This man is married and owes his wife respect and loyalty, the young lady owes his wife nothing because she has no binding contract before God with the man's wife. So, let's even say she went after him, does he not the common decency a man owes his wife or at worst, the responsibility a superior officer must afford his subordinates? If a rapist offered his penis to his victim to suck before intercourse, that is simply a taboo because the man has not yet washed and he might be smelling. That could upset even a willing woman. If he has gone through some form of ablution, he might believe he has obtained an agreement. Many men will continue to be naive that one false step could land them in deep waters. A woman who even agrees to sex still could cry rape under some circumstance. Perhaps, rape was not exactly the word for the woman to use as rape carries death sentence in some countries. That the man threaten her (life or her job) was not stated. What was going through this man's mind to turn up at a subordinate's house with his clothing at that wee hours? Have they had a joke in the meantime about something? The man may need some detailed assessment than ordinary punitive action. The behaviour is not normal.

The situation will be complex if he has a wife at home or in a committed relationship. All said, we could not bastardise this man just because he has been accused. Innocent until proved guilty by law. A woman can simply hurt and jail you please - this is not impossible and I am not saying it happened in this case. A woman has jailed her husband of 12 years for this same rape claim thing.

The story - the man was naked expecting oral sex it may seem but got a lot more than what he wanted. Strange again that the woman accepted to wash his things, but nothing more, but for now, it will be he said and she said. Thank God the penis has been mended. If you consent to sex to protect your job or for whatever gain or benefit, it’s not rape and it’s not attempted rape. Coerced sex through the exercise of position power must be condemned, but it is not rape. The other bottom line is that she inflicted an aggravated assault on the man. The man was submissive, harmless and vulnerable lying on him back. She had intent to harm him for whatever reason, and she did. She has committed a crime and should be charged and tried.
As for the Fire Service, they should quickly change the man’s suspension to medical leave, otherwise they are liable for illegal suspension. It is not up to the Fire Service to judge the case and dish out punishment for something that happened away from work in the private lives of its employees. This is a matter for the police and the law.

The story of this brutal attempted rape by the criminal fire officer is a complete outrage and offensive on many fronts. What right does any man have to barge into a woman's residence and bedroom without prior agreement or invitation? What right has any man to take his dirty clothes to a woman to wash for him? And really past midnight? And the woman being a subordinate at work? This is intolerably offensive abuse and corruption at many levels.

The courageous victim, Ataa Takyi, should sue for intrusion with criminal intent and attempted rape. And if the Fire Service is honest and not trying to cover up, then they should fire the rapist fire officer!

I am a man and strongly against any form of rape, sexual harassment or threats to our beautiful Ghanaian women. in the same sense I strongly condemn women who will do everything to put men into trouble. why did this lady not shout for help when she could? did her boss strip her naked or she undress herself. did she do the act of biting in self defense or she deliberated on her strange acts? the man might have tried to take advantage of the situation but hey! get help if you could. to me, the credibility of your story is very very low.
