Due to wars , migration and intermarriage we are all cousins . A great number of people in the Volter region can trace their ancestry to Ashanti. And Guans from Gonja and GAs are mixed with the Akwamus who are Akan. The Denkyiras , Assins are mixed with Ashanti's and Elmina and major parts of the Central region are full of Ashanti's. And there are Ashanti's in Ada .Go study some Ghana history and snap out of your tribal nonsense.

You don't know Ghana history so don't be fool. I'm Ashanti but my grandmother reminded us we have some of our families living in Kpando in the Volta region I think she didn't even know them. Those our family members there are speaking ewe now and we hoped to meet even one when my mother was alive but never. It happened that they went there as refugees from a war between Kumasi and Asante Juaben. The descendants who are there are now Voltarians when in actual fact they are Ashantis.

So the Akyems sent a delegation with the Okyehenes brother as the leader. That's why the Akropong stool is Oforikuma whilst the Kyebi stool is Oforipanim.
