They introduced the Free Maternal Healthcare, National Health Insurance Scheme, National Youth Employment Programme, School Feeding, Metro Mass Transit, Livelihood Empowerment Against Poverty. They paid the teacher training allowances and the nurse training allowances, all from the GHC 20 billion. Within the eight years of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), they have had GHS248 billion but have collapsed the NHIS, the National Youth Employment programme, School Feeding Programme, Metro Mass Transit, nurse training and teacher training allowances. So we now have official lying in Ghana where government official lie through their teeth without blinking their eyes. What good lessons are we teaching our future generation? It means the suspicion Ghanaians have that Prez Atta Mills might have been strangled and allowed to struggle and die in the bucket of a pick-up truck might be true. All Governments are the same, NPP or NDC. It does not matter which of them is in power. The only fact is one party is more corrupt than the other. Accusing a particular party of being corrupt is just hypocrisy. These politicians accusing one another of corruption is just to throw dust in the eyes of the electorate. After all, they are all friends who went to the same school or university. So what they say in public about the other should not be taken serious. In my opinion corruption cannot be fought successfully by any government in this century. May be the younger generation can do something about it in the next century.

It is an eyesore and unbelievable to find policemen and women storm the streets as early as 4.30am just to collect money from commercial drivers and then disappear.
This shameless and disgraceful practice is well known to the regional police commanders who are accomplices.
Unfortunately Regional Ministers and the powers that be are unconcerned even though this extortion is known to all and sundry.
The President is only interested in wearing Military uniforms and not interested in stopping the police from using their uniforms to illegally enrich themselves.
Ghanaians must join the crusade to stop the police from using their uniforms to extort money from commercial drivers.This shameful practice is all over Kumasi streets from 4.30am to6.00am everyday.
