Have our condolences! I nearly had a similar experience in my village in 1992 a few days after Ghana had lost to Ivory Coast in the penalty shootout in the African Cup of Nations. I had squatted to with my foot on a fallen coconut frond to 'do the thing'. Unknown to a snake was hiding under the frond and feeling threatened was aiming at my 'Kofi'. I was lucky to see it fast and jump. In fact, what saved was the fact that the snake itself was small. If it been long, it would have bitten my 'Kofi' before seeing it.
