A full blooded ghanaian cannot be stripped of his or her citizenship but a naturalised lebanese's citizenship can be stripped. This happens in most advanced countries. It all depends on each country's immigration laws. Even though people like Fadi Dapussy and other Lebanese nationals who are naturalised can be classified as ghanaians, they still face the risk of losing their citizenship because they are not ashantes, fantes or notherners. They are of foreign origin. It is therefore important for them to respect the laws of their host who granted them their citizenship. Calling the leader of our country an adulterous president cum hiv positive is a serious offence which calls for capital punishment. I will love to see this funny dapussy so called journalist stripped of his citizenship as soon as possible. We shouldn't allow ourselves to be taken for granted by any foreigner who will abuse our hospitality. Profoundly I am shocked to listen to some comments made by some ghanaians in support of a lebanese refugee who shamelessly addressed the first gentleman of our country as a HIV positive person.Are we out of our senses because of politics ? It must be borne in mind that the NPP is predominantly an Akan Party and from its birth in the 1940s, its leading candidate has always been an Akan. If such an information exists and it has been passed to Fadi, Ghanaians must be very cautious as to where it was coming from.
In the West sex has been used as entrapment for promising politicians who then fall on their swords at the most crucial moments of their callings. This must not be allowed in African politics. Sex scandals in the Monarchies of the West has no home until they achieved self-sufficiency. In other words, no brilliant African leader must become victim to SEX. Sex could easily be used as entrapment and Ghanaians as well as Africans must be wise to it.
In Ghana and Africa, a mere taxi driver or truck pusher could have wives or wife and concubines but a Government Minister or Presidential Candidate could be chastised for such? The old and those low on testosterone will be running for the throne? I am really sure, there was no mention of monogamy as condition for the Presidency in Ghana.
Any man with enough testosterone could be found wanting under some circumstance. The Arab Sheikhs had multiple wives. It was on record that ex- French President Francois Mitterrand has a concubine known to the French people. Ex-President J.A. Kufour was alleged to have fathered children outside his marriage.
If, in truth His Excellency John Mahama has fathered a child with someone’s wife and the woman happened to be the daughter of the Ashantehene – it must in no way play against him at all. It is their domestic affair. Any attempt to place even the slightest weight on this will simply be playing into the hands of (ON BASIS OF AN AKAN WOMAN AND PLAYING INTO THE HANDS OF AN AKAN PARTY).
Once again, it was on record that ex-French President Francois Mitterrand had alluded that if he ever punishes a Minister who has had extra-marital affair, he will be surrounding himself with homo-sexuals. These are weighty statements. This is coming from the developed West.
No one knows how many wives the Prime Minister or President of Lebanon has and how many concubines he has which in any case will be irrelevant here in Ghana. It is not by accident that this man has this information – the source nonetheless is irrelevant.
