Adopted foreign language of the Colonalist as a formal National language of the African,is Remnants of Slavery overlooked by our forefathers to addressed. Ghana had/has School of Languages during Nkrumah's time.Now some Ghanaian local Languages is Studied up to University Level.The question is, what is the Aim after about 59 yrs of Self govt.(3).The suggestion by this man is Anti- Progress of our local languages and encourage intellectual laziness and stagnation in vocabulary of the local Dialects,and discrimnatory.What Ghana need to do is adopt one of her local Dialects widely spoken and understood even by those who could not articulate to form a sentence in a moment. But get the gist of what you mean.And that is the Akan-Twi Dialect,in my personal opinion. That is the way forward. And there's no nonsense about that! Know that I'm not from the Twi Speaking area in Ghana but,we should call a Spade a Spade.Period!

You are talking about what should be, the man is talking about what is. You need to be literate in a language we can all identify with. As of now, that language is not twi, it is English. And being literate in twi is not the same as being able to speak the language well. You need to be able to READ and WRITE it. That is probably even more difficult than being able to read and write English. Hahahahaha.
