How can somebody who studied education as a major subject teaches mathematics? planning graduate teaching mathematics also? Haaaaba, agricultural teacher teaches social studies? oooo my beloved country ghana is doomed. This is not only happening in Kintampo senior high school alone, ministry of education should investigate all teachers if the teachers are actually teaching the subject studied at the varsity in the major one.

As for GES they will not sack you oooo the thing is to transfer, which will never solve the problem.

Why not suspension at least? They even deserve jail terms to serve as deterent to prospective offenders.

Unlike your mates in B/A, you are doing nothing to end the systematic apo being institutionalized at the Acropolis Schools, Gbawe, this despite repeated reports by current and past students, teachers and parents. Is it because the owner is well connected, being a member of the Otublohum royal family, or is it his connections with the Bank of Ghana and the GCB? Already Mr. Nelson Nartey and co have started taxing the current JHS 3 students preparatory to the 2017 BECE. Act now in the name of God!!!

such cases are so common and when the students fail in Mathematics so badly we turn to blame them while the fault comes from the teachers

Please GES we need your help immediately. Am a former teacher at T. I. Ahmadiyya Girls SHS, similar cases is happening at the above mentioned school.
We have only 3 classes for business and six teachers to teachers to business management, costing and accounting. Each teacher do only 6 credits hours a week. The headmistress is keeping them just because she has relation with them.
A teacher who specialize in business accounting is teaching religious studies (RME).
Some department had collapsed but still we are keeping those teachers the visual art, only 5 students but the teachers are still at post.
A teacher who also specialize in technical education is teaching core mathematics.
Polytechnic graduate teaching food and nutrition.
Cases of corruption as well but can't share. We need investigation from a neutral body because the district auditors and education director have some hand dealings.
A lot of unqualified teaching subjects they can't handle just because they need job.
To conclude the school population is 435 students and there are 76 teachers. I can say for a fact more than 20 teachers are redundant and they then to be transfer.
The headmistress, MRS AYESHA NYANTYIWAA BOAKYE is covering up for the teachers.
Ghana Education service we need you now. The students (girls) are suffering and failing their WASSCE examination.
Schools in the northern part of the country need teachers and here in the Ashanti region, Asokore-Effiduase have more teachers but unqualified.

THESE ANOMALIES HAS HAPPENED FOR YEARS AND STUDENTS ARE FAILING THEIR FINALS EXAMS BECAUSE THEY DON'T GET THE RIGHT TEACHERS TO TEACH THE RIGHT SUBJECTS. YOU CAN'T MINGLE UNQUALIFIED TEACHERS TO TEACH IN PRESEC,ADISADEL,PREMPEH AND OTHER BIG SCHOOLS AND EVERY YEAR THE YOUNG ONES KEEP ON FAILING THEIR EXAMS. They have this notion that once a teacher you should be able to handle any subject given. This normally happens at the JHS level... I think this habit of GES is not helping our educational system.
