You can't say somebody broke a code of conduct and at the same time say he did nothing wrong, what an ambivalence!!! So CHRAJ must come clear on this isuue. If Mahama did wrong, that punishment he deserves must be meted out to him without fear and favour.

What those accusing the president are saying that if they were in power they would have done all what is at their disposal to influence tenders.
That is the mindset of those people that since they are willing to do all things that are corrupt, it means that others are corrupt like them.
Are people who jump from one political party to another credible people?
Some of us have had matters at CHRAJ since Emil Sorts time that remained not settled up to date. So when the Sort man try to come to justice attempting that his hands have equity it make us laugh.

it is on public records that the said gifted car to prez mahama , had also been given to the state.
if it is true that prez mahama had given the car back to the state, then he dont need to pay tax on the gift.this is because the receiver of the gift is not benefiting anything from the gifted car, that define no violation on the gift policy

The PPP youth and the youth wing of the CPP acted at least, to appease the souls of Krobo Edusei, Ambassador Kwesi Armah and Okutser Bekoe. Whilst their elders in the party slept over this glaring abuse of public office, by no less a person than the President of the Republic of Ghana. The young men saw the need to pursue justice. The CPP, as a party, found everything wrong for ther young men to have taken the action they did. Curious, is it not? How should the CPP, which claims to be inheritors of the legacy of the ideals of Kwame Nkrumah. And the People National National Party ( PNP ) led by President Hilla Limann, which was descendant party of Nkrumah, fail to support the youth but rather, conspire to suspend the defenders of the faith? Did not the forebears of the Ndc, PNDC that destabilize the last Nkrumaists party, after only twenty seven months in government? Is this lost on the older people of the CPP? But rather, the younger group know and are not pleased with it? President Limann party chieftains, Okutswer Bekoe, Kwesi Armah and Krobo were accused of taking a bribe from an Italian businessman. The PNDC government of which all the players of the current Ndc administration belonged, benefited from the collapse of Limann government. They supervised the prosecution and eventual jailing of the three men to ten years each. Two of the men died while serving their in jail sentence. Several years on, when the supposed angels who judged lesser people of their crimes, are caught in the same web they weaved, elders who should know better, will, for reasons only known to them, will rather behave in this weird manner. The CPP must shed its skin in other to be relevant and hope to grow.

What is Emile Short saying? It appears that the only way to feel important and remain relevant is to criticize government or anytime that favours government. This self-glorified and conceited man behaves arrogantly as if he is the receptacle of knowledge and wisdom. It's not his fault, but those biased and empty journalist who quickly call to seek his opinion on any national discourse. When he was at CHRAJ, he was respected snf given room to operate not because he was more intelligent than everyone else, but because we wanted to strengthen the institution and build its independence. Today this same man keeps interfering in the works of the commission with negative comments, most of which have no basis. Let this man know that 10 intelligent judges sitting independently on the same case might come out with 10 different interpretations and judgements but they may all be right. So Mr Short must be careful in his usual interference and unhealthy pronouncements on sensitive issues. He and most of our political intellectuals must stop their "on the alert" postures of monitoring radio stations with their phones ready to receive calls from their known presenters. They must respect themselves and stay above partisanship. In short, Mr Emile Short and his like shout stay ad Statesmen.

Emile Short only views the verdict as problematic because he and his NPP cooked up a deception on a matter that is not worthy of any hearing, and is fuming because the verdict derails the NPP's sinister plan of having a tool to sink President Mahama and the NDC in the coming election. The only thing that's problematic is the NPP's decision to try turning a miniscule and irrelevant matter into an elephant.
