We cannot have 2 big sea ports in Ghana,Takoradi and Tema in addition to Nugua Nautical College without having ships.I will agree with Solomon Nkansah if he says the NDC govt will seek new contracts for Ghanaian seamen or buy new ships for seamen but not to encourage stowaway.I used to be a master stowaway,I was born and breed in Sekondi where stowaway is seen as an act of bravery.We do learn how to stowaway,you don't just jump into any stupid ship.We have some good ships for stowaway and some Deadly ones.The bottom line is that,the youth in Sekondi/Takoradi like the seafaring jobs.Sekondi/Takoradi is not voting for NDC because of the Black Star Line ships that Rawlings sold them out but not because of stowaway,Solomon Nkansah should get it straight.If you want to revise the voting pattern in the Sekondi/Takoradi then you better get us sea jobs but not stowaway.Thank you.

They will not need to travel to Libya,Ivory Coast or elsewhere to hit on.Considering,the number of death cases recorded on the desert,we had better hit on right here from Takoradi.I don't encourage stowaway because I've got experience in it but I'll prefere stowing away from Ghana than any part of the world.It may sound crazy to some people but atimes it's one of the best solutions.We the the guys staying around the port don't fear stowaway because it has been with us for many years,that's the difference so Solo maybe right somehow.Thank you.

Before Nkrumah left the shores he had acquired at least some basic education. That background propelled him to continue on and gain the knowledge and confidence to do what he did.

Instead of campaigning on making the educational and social structures better for decent lives for the masses, your policy is to create an avenue for people to run away from town ........ so you can go asking for huge international loans to line your pockets whilst the stowaways languish on sea and land.

Again, clearly, your message is encouraging and asking the citizens to go seek their fortunes elsewhere because you have nothing to offer them at home.

If those countries abroad had this same "runaway" policy and mentality will there be a safe place for people to come, stay, work and prosper?
