Deuteronomy 21:18-23New International Version (NIV)
A Rebellious Son
18 If someone has a stubborn and rebellious son who does not obey his father and mother and will not listen to them when they discipline him, 19 his father and mother shall take hold of him and bring him to the elders at the gate of his town. 20 They shall say to the elders, “This son of ours is stubborn and rebellious. He will not obey us. He is a glutton and a drunkard.” 21 Then all the men of his town are to stone him to death. You must purge the evil from among you. All Israel will hear of it and be afraid.
Various Laws
22 If someone guilty of a capital offense is put to death and their body is exposed on a pole, 23 you must not leave the body hanging on the pole overnight. Be sure to bury it that same day, because anyone who is hung on a pole is under God’s curse. You must not desecrate the land the Lord your God is giving you as an inheritance.

Parallel Verses
New International Version
"'If a man commits adultery with another man's wife--with the wife of his neighbor--both the adulterer and the adulteress are to be put to death.
John8:1-11
1. Jesus went unto the mount of Olives. 2. And early in the morning he came again into the temple, and all the people came unto him; and he sat down, and taught them. 3, And the scribes and Pharisees brought unto him a woman taken in adultery; and when they had set her in the midst, 4. They say unto him, Master, this woman was taken in adultery, in the very act. 5. Now Moses in the law commanded us, that such should be stoned: but what sayest thou? 6. This they said, tempting him, that they might have to accuse him. But Jesus stooped down, and with his finger wrote on the ground, as though he heard them not. 7. So when they continued asking him, he lifted up himself, and said unto them, He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her. 8.And again he stooped down, and wrote on the ground. 9. And they which heard it, being convicted by their own conscience, went out one by one, beginning at the eldest, even unto the last: and Jesus was left alone, and the woman standing in the midst. 10. When Jesus had lifted up himself, and saw none but the woman, he said unto her, Woman, where are those thine accusers? hath no man condemned thee? 11.She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more.
I have provided three texts from The Holy Bible and I would be asking questions on them as how AL-IKHLAAS would have applied in GHANA today?
The Holy Bible spoke of Almighty God revealing himself to the Patriarch Abraham as Almighty God. Then when the Jews were returning from exile in Egypt. He, revealed himself to Prophet Moses as YAHWEH or JEHOVAH. The Holy Bible was full of scriptures indicating clearly that a promised Messiah will come, but lacking understanding that this MESSIAH would be himself by the manifestation of God on earth. Zechariah 12:10 10 And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications: and they shall look upon me whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for him, as one mourneth for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for his firstborn.
Our lack of understanding does not change the Holy writings. The manifestation of God in the flesh has generated much questions, but it need not be for God is plain simply God and there is nothing God cannot do.
Even though Islam may believe The Prophet Muhammed may be the last Prophet, there are several millions who are today hearing the voice of God in them and some professing prophecy. The ways of God cannot be understood completely by the mortal flesh. In the case of Our Lord Jesus Christ, it was said his flesh will not see corruption (rot)
It was in Our Lord Jesus Christ that God was spoken in the terms "we will". This most certainly is outside the scope of this piece. However, it is common in Islam that Christians view Our Lord Jesus Christ as God and this has has been solid faith of many based on The Holy Bible.
HE WHO HAS NO SIN ... must first act in compliance with Al-ikhlaas. When people were executed in Bible times, it was done openly because they had believed The Almighty God was the author. They were mistaken. For a fact, a family that has actually over fed their own son and then bring him to the elders to kill him may need psychiatry assessment themselves. People must value life and not because they wish to please God when in actual fact, they may not understand the written text. Scholars come with different interpretations but the written text is for our hearts as readers.
In Christian lands, killing of an adulterer is non-existent not because they do not hold God in esteem but ARE WE REALLY UNDERSTANDING WHAT WE ARE READING?
Almighty God is Supreme Authority - the creator and provider of life. With the coming of the manifestation of God on earth in Our Lord Jesus Christ, these capital punishments disappear.
One could simply read between the lines and can understand how easily Islam Jihadists could claim to be relying on Al-ikhlaas to commit whatever is lawless but choosing to be obedient to Allah than any human Society and facing the consequences if that meant their being killed. How would Almighty God allow you to be murdered in the carrying out of his command? Is there something the follower is not UNDERSTANDING?
TO BELIEVE YOU HAVE MANDATE TO OBSERVE THE WORDS OF GOD, YOU MUST BE SINLESS FROM BIRTH, then you can act! Who is sinless - meaning the words will simply be in the statute books and not meant for actionning. All are striving to please Almighty God and never authorised to do something that can knowingly endanger the adherent's life.
If you go preaching to someone and the person strikes you with something. it has happened but you did not knowingly do something which must result in your death. If you embark on a course of action which seek to kill or destroy in the name of Al-ikhlaas, as was explained to the Jews who had misunderstood the earlier commands in The Torah there is no gain of any description. We cannot rush to the afterlife. We have to strive to live blameless lives ourselves and never ever be judgemental. If someone is a Christian, he must be. If he be a heathen, if you have a message talk to him. The Prophet of Islam was giving this express command which supersedes all commands: Tell then Allah have sent you - if they believe...

Thank you for this article. You are helping to teach us the fundamentals of our religion. We live in a secular state and the duty of teaching a religion lies with the followers of that religion. With knowledge one can practice with a measure of certainty. We do not need people who are neck deep in politics and predicting results in advance. Our children have been misled because they lacked Islamic knowledge. Please continue with you good works and may Allahu Taala strengthen you with knowledge to pass on to others. May He Bless and Protect you always. I hope others will follow you example.

One's works, the righteous requirements of the law (the Ten Commandments), had never saved anyone in the records of the Bible, and will never save anyone in the future from the defilement of sin. Good intentions and promise were lsrael's response to the (Firs Covenant) Old Covenant in the time of Moses (Exodus 19:5-8; 24:3; Hebrews 8:7). But the covenant was broken in a few weeks because of the worship of the golden calf. (Exodus 32; Hebrews 8:9)
Please observe:
"Knowing that a man is not justified (declared righteous) by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law; for by the deeds of the law shall no flesh be justified." Galatians 2:16.
All religious organizations fall into two groups: grace or works to achieve salvation from the defilement of sin. Christianity sets itself apart from all religious organizations by the acceptance of God's covenant of grace as the only means of salvation from the defilement of sin, and never by works
(rituals ) which is the norm of all other religious organizations.
Observe:
"For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. For we are his workmanship, created
in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God had before ordained that we should walk in them." Ephesians 2:8-10
Obedience to God's law (good works) is
paramount in the Christian's life because the law is written on his heart as a moral guide. (lsaiah 51:7; Ezekiel 36:26-27).He obeys God' s law not to be saved, but because has been saved. He is always aware that it is only God's grace that saves him from the penalty and power of sin, and in the hereafter save him from the presence of sin.
