Why is there no Toll Booth on the 140 Km Alsphatic Fufulso-Sawla Road? Is it because the road leads to Prez Mahama's hometown? Is this not contrary to the national road policy? Why is Prez Mahama permitting this treachery? The Accra-Kumasi road is about 200 Km yet has 3 Toll Booths. The Accra-Aflao Road is less than 200Km and also has 3 Toll Booths. What about the Accra-Aburi Road? The road is less than 50Km and yet has a Toll Booth. By using the National Road Standard for siting toll booths the Fufulso-Sawla road should have had at least 2 Toll Booths but nay, there is no single toll booth on that stretch of road 3years after its construction and Mahama is happy with that. This same Mahama will later turn around to say that there is no money to employ teachers and nurses and later go and borrow money at high interest rate to construct roads. Is this prudent management of the Ghanaian economy or are Ghanaians now colonized by the Western Gonja Caliphate and so other Ghanaians should sweat for Mahama's Family and friends. Who knows, may be the money used for the construction of the Fufulso- Sawla Road is part of the money Kufuor secured for the construction of the Hydro-dam in the Upper East Region and which was later divert by the NDC government to construct roads in the Northern Region - the home region of President Mahama. May God save us from the evil hands of Mahama

It will never happen in our time. We don’t lack quality human resources and it therefore suffice to say it is in abundance.
The attack on the flag bearers of the NPP and PPP by Hassan Ayariga is very unfortunate. One does not expect anything better from this man and AkuaDonkor as long as they are being financed from our hard earned tax monies on silver platter by the President to denigrate his opponents. What is the worth of these two individuals? Hassan claims he is a PHD holder but never talk sense. I have never witnessed any serious PHD holder makes himself a laughing stock as he claims to be one. Probably this was not acquired through hard work otherwise he will not be engaged in the sort of child play we are seeing. How did he acquire this? Truly, these two individuals should be at the National Theatre performing concerts for wearied workers and businessmen and women to laugh off their tiredness.
The irony is that they want to become presidents but their attention is not directed at the current President but find it convenient to attack the flag bearers of the NPP and the PPP. Are these flag bearers the threat to them becoming presidents? There is wisdom in old age, we are told. The youthful President desired by them have only succeeded in bringing hardship on the people and seriously engaged in gargantuan corruption never witnessed in the history of this country. His level of incompetence is incomparable in the four republics this country has travelled.Bishop David Oyedepo’sbook titled-Fulfilling your Days, in page 29 post the following: The minimum covenant number of years you are expected to live on the earth as a child of God is 70. This can be extended beyond 70 by reason of strength. Even the weakest Christian is not expected to live for less than 70 years before he passes on to glory.
The reason NDC and its allies keep referring to age in their campaign is they think age will be a determining factor for voting a person to become president. This is of no consequence. The life span of any human being including the so called relatively young President is always determined by God. I wish God will smite these people dead to prove that He holds the life of every man to teach them lesson. Nana Addo will live through his period as President unlike late Professor Mills who some of us see as immature politician. His immaturity facilitated his assassination by his own people. Any time I get the opportunity, I will draw Ghanaians attention to this dastard act by power drunk people in the NDC paving the way for President Mahama.
It is common knowledge all over the world and rightly so that, any president or party eyeing a second term in office discharges well in their first term. For the NDC, they know they are in their last term so they decided to enrich themselves through massive corruption so that when they are out they will have adequate to survive on.The people are living through serious hardship beyond description. The prices of goods and services have reached roof rocketing levels and worse of it is the high unemployment which even makes the plight of the people worse.
Knowing they have performed poorly the NDC and the President have resorted to vote buying through which they hope to win the elections. It is really unfortunate! Any president who has done his work well need not influence voters with money to be retained. The normal thing will be for the people themselves to be calling to retain even if he has completed his legal tenor. It is time for NDC and the President to use the stolen money from the coffers of the State. One should know that the President is paid from our taxes and no reasonable person will use his hard earned income to bribe electorates instead of dispensing this money on tangible things for his family.For the past three years the electorates were never given money by the President except when we are in the last term of his service. What is it meant to do?
One cannot blame those who open up for these bribes because they have been impoverished for too long and are hungry. The obvious thing is to clamour for these monies but I hope they will not allow their conscious to be bought for pittance. The Sovereignty which the Constitution grants them is a very serious provision and they need to use it well otherwise they will be like the proverbial mouse which for a piece of fish will allow itself to be caught by the trap for the end of its life. How long will these monies last them? This isagainst the situation whereby they vote for Nana Addo to come on board to lead this country to the state we all want to see it be. We need to build a country for ourselves and generations after us which provide equal opportunities for everybody to attain his or her goal in life. This group of people has only come to enrich themselves and their families whiles the majority of the people are wallowing in poverty.
Too much talk dilutes the issue and never helps in the resolution of the Ford Expedition saga. It must first be established whether the Constitution which is the foremost law of the land has been breached. Then we can look at other legislations which speak to the same issue. This need to be done very carefully against the letter and the spirit but it is not what happens.
It does not surprise me that those who call themselves lawyers talk too much and will often advance their points from the favourable angle. But those of us from the science background do not talk too much but rather straight to the point. Article 284 is a very short sentence and make interesting reading. For me I will take the phrase ‘’personal interest conflicts or is likely to conflict’’ to analyse. The Burkinabe developed his personal relationship with the President through his business relationship with the state. They were not friends until he was introduced to the President. This is a fact. After he was introduced, he started getting contracts which were elusive to him prior to the friendly relationship. We are told that this man offered a material gift in the form of Ford Expedition to the President after securing some contracts. Looking at these developments in the context of the phrase couched from Article 284, who can say this article has not been breached? All other explanations from the President are inconsequential to the breach so the so called communicators should shut their peaks. We are told duty was hence paid on the vehicle which is not the case for state vehicles. Is it not an admission that the car is actually for the personal use of the President despite the fact it was added to the pool of state cars?
Again we are told the President has issued a Code of Conduct to his appointees relating to acceptance of gifts. Is this Code an act of deception to the public if the issuer of the Code himself has breached it with impunity without any consequence?
For me any long explanation on this matter does not change my mind about this President. If this has happened in any of the Advanced Economies the President will cease to calledPresident. He is not a well behaved leader as far as his conduct is concerned and I have severally said that he can only be president in less informed society like Ghana. He appears to be riding on the crest and it is because of our unfortunate brothers and sisters and parents who don’t have better appreciation of the issues at stake. A properly trained student of the almighty School of Administration of the University of Ghana will take the position I have taken. I want to be President of Ghana but this will not be the obvious leadership I will provide to Ghanaians. There are standards all over the world which disciplined people live up to. The best source of standard for our generation is the Holy Bible and I don’t waste my time to the plenty talks. All I do is to set the talks to the standard to form my opinion, simple.
The danger to the State is the President and his party, NDC. They have tried very hard to describe their main opponent, Nana and the NPP as violent without being able to mention the specific things which make the flag bearer violent. They have sold this thought to again our illiterate brothers and sisters without any question. They think they are incumbent so they must win the elections by hook or crook judging from their conduct. They have unduely allocated to themselves resources belonging to all of us as incumbent and sometimes using state agencies against their opponents through unseen faces in their midst. Is this the democracy we are proud of which I hear many people seem to be applaud? I am a perfectionist so I believe things must be done in the best way for other equals to copy and not always trying to weigh ourselves against failures to show we are doing well. Osagyefo Kwame Nkrumah did not compare Ghana with states which were not ready to take their destinies into their hands. He led the way for these states to copy.
I wish to use my last submission to advise the NPP to demand from the EC Ground Rules and the way to resolve some developments which are likely to occur judging from our past. For instance the situation where ballot boxes are snatched away and returned later after it has been stuffed with ballots not casted by voters, intimidating voters in opponents’ strongholds to prevent voters from voting. I hold a strong opinion that these things will be carried out by thugs and machomen from the camp of the NDC knowing they will have backing from the ruling party and the President as we saw in the Montie 3 episode. The other area to be watched is monetary influence to polling agents of opponents to overlook aberrations since they are into vote buying. There are other things which I will privately discuss with the party later in the month. The security of the party should be tightened and properly designed from now not to expose it to this wicked and pretentious President and party.

Like I have said before the NDC will become irrelevant in our body politics the day the Ghanaian electorates become enlightened. Any serious study of the activities of this party will tell that it has gained power through lies and propaganda. They really lack ideas about governance. It has played on the ignorance of the people to win their votes and the President has also articulated this by saying Ghanaians have short memories. This is a point the NPP need to harmer on anytime they have the opportunity to interact with voters. It is an insult which if the NPP had mentioned, the NDC will put a twist on to make the NPP unpopular. What is hurting me in this election is that NPP seem not to have identified the strength of the NDC. It is a party very good in propaganda and lies and do not have good ethics and will do anything at all to win elections. And in doing this they understand the audience they appeal to with this sort of strategy.
The NPP should know the sophistication of the voters they visit in order to couch their message to suit. The small marketing I did as an Accounting student in the university tells me one does not bring a product to the market expecting that consumers will like it. What is done is to bring a product which consumers want. The messages should be in simple form which the voter can relate to depending on the level of sophistication. The form of the message relayed to the academic environment cannot be the same as the one relayed to persons coming from my village. This is a major problem with those of us who are very enlightened and it is a disadvantage in politics in a place like Ghana.
Financial projections are usually based on the historical performance of a business entity on the assumption that conditions that influence the attainment of such result will remain the same into the future. The tall list of promises included in the manifesto of the NDC should be vigorously examined against the promises made in 2008 and 2012 to the Ghanaian people. Those of us who are blessed to engage in critical thinking should not allow charlatans to take us for a ride. Why did we go to school then? Many of the things cannot be done and will not be done. President Mahama just want to win political party to continue with the corruption he has presided over, reassigning wrong doers to the presidency to assist in times like this. Ghanaians want the President to account for his stewardship for the eight years of the NDC and this should be the clarion call by all the opposition parties and whole country. Those of us who have allowed parochial interest to shape our conduct instead of seeking the bigger good of this country are not patriotic and posterity will judge them.
Illiterates lack critical minds and do appreciate the physical things around them. The appetite of the President for infrastructure has been informed by this. The NDC deliberately plunged the country into heavy debt for two reasons: The first is to enrich themselves through corruption in the execution of projects and the second is to satisfy the people who lacked the critical mind referred to earlier. It is a well measured strategy by which to go into the elections. Every community need infrastructure but there is no way this can be met. But one thing which runs through everybody’s life is social intervention which does not matter where one is located in the part of the country.All the social interventions by former President Kufuor’sGovernment have gone very far where infrastructures have not. The increasing coverage of the LEAP in particular is an indication of increasing poverty levels in the country. The program should be getting slimmer if poverty levels were to be reducing in the country. There is no doubt there will always be poverty in the country but one expects that if the country were to be doing well some of these beneficiaries should not find themselves on this program. This situation reminds us about a quote by former US President Ronald Reagan which reads ‘’ our aim is to increase our national wealth so all will have more, not just redistribute what we already have which is a sharing of scarcity. We can begin to reward hard work and risk taking by forcing government to live within its means.’’ In effect, President Reagan was talking about empowering the private sector to take center stage in the creation of wealth and providing jobs.
The saddest observation at the manifesto launch of the NDC over the week end was the wish of some of its followers to see the death of the flag bearer of the NPP. This is the extent to which the NDC can go and for some of us it does not surprise us because these are a group of people who can assassinatedPresident Mills of blessed memory for the sake of power. Sensing the 2012 elections will not go for their party decided to assassinate the President who happens to be a member of their party. Late Professor Mills was a national asset and cannot be limited to the NDC so on behalf of the good people of Ghana I am calling on the Government to disclose to us how did the country lose its President in that bizarre circumstance. This actually beat the imagination of majority of us knowing the provisions expected to be made for each president who has occupied the seat from the days of the first republic and more seriously the fourth republic. The seat President Mahama is occupying is blood stained of a man of God and this same God will not endorse his presidency. If he dares force himself on us this country will go into flames. Many people see this President as good but I can bet with my spirit as a strong child of God that he is not. The revelations I get about this President is not worth it being the leader of this state. In public he puts up good appearance which is feigned. I pray that God strike those who wish the death of the NPP flag bearer in clear day light. His hands should be on the flag bearer and to grant him the opportunity to offer what He God has destined for this country. AkufoAddo is far better than President Mahama in terms of good heart. The flag bearer like others I know who are also born in March like late HawaYakubu, Late Professor Kofi Awoonor, Emeritus Prof OtiBoateng, Bishop AgyinAsare are all good hearted people. Our Lord Jesus Christ was himself believed to be born in this month by Biblical Historians by observing His character trait, and not December as it has been celebrated.
Going to the Central Region to tell its people to vote for him because he is their son, brother and husband is a pretense, he wants take advantage of them. The soul of late Professor Mills is just laughing anytime he goes there to say these things. The chiefs and people of this region should not belittle themselves by the freebies and accolades showered on them by the NDC and the President in particular.
It is a fact many people feel disappointed with the Mahama led administration and have indicated they will not vote in the upcoming elections. Like myself these people should vote for a presidential candidate that can lead this country to improve on the living conditions of Ghanaians. Their votes are very important to get rid of this incompetent Government The Constitution prescribes that political parties can sponsor candidates for an election but basically we vote for individuals. I want all these people to join me to vote out incompetent leaders who are only good in spending money to influence people instead of providing good leadership to benefit everybody no matter where you belong or come from.

UNWARRANTED ATTACKS ON THE NPP FLAG BEARER
This concern goes to the international community and our African neighbours. I believe the democratic journey embarked on is largely to offer opportunity to the citizenry to take part in the development of our various countries. It is a process of offering alternative ideas for the people to choose from. Sadly it has been turned into a process of personal attacks which can degenerate into chaos. Unfortunately the President and his party people, aside the incumbency advantages which they are enjoying are culprits in this narrative. Should Ghana get into flames as a result of this negative conduct, the President and his party people must be called to answer.
The NPP leader who has been the primary target of these personal attacks has gone about his campaign in a civil manner, engaging his audience and constituencies with messages of hope. In the presence of the President and sometimes himself, personal attacks have been launched on Nana Addo. Referring to the height of an opponent who is intellectually endowed even better is worrisome. The followers of the opponent can also make reference to the womanizing conduct of the President which has resulted into the littering of children with several ladies like a dog on rampage. This behavior is serious and abhorred by the scriptures than the height of a person. The Bible has never referred to anybody’s height but itcondemns fornication and adultery in the severest term.
The political career of John Mahama is a good opportunity to prove his mettle; starting as MP, Deputy Minister, Minister, Vice President and President is rare. There is no person currently in this country who has benefitted from this opportunity but all we have is woeful disaster in leadership. A leadership saddled with high cost of goods and services including transportation cost, cost of fuel, power, education, housing, water and many others. Low employment opportunities, high inflation rate, very high cost of borrowing, high cost of doing business because of multiplicity of taxes and levies, high exchange rate, fallen standard of education, low purchasing power, incompetence in governance, poor health provision and several others. They always refer to building roads, schools and hospitals as if the life of a Ghanaian is all about infrastructure. These are the only things they often mention in eight years. Do we eat infrastructure? It is not surprising his selection as the Vice to the late President Mills was met with disapproval by the founder of their party. He was the Vice who was to be investigated by his own President. His boss unfortunately has to dearly pay the price for it by his assassination which has been kept secretly. This is why President Mahama cannot reprimand any of his members because they are in complicity of this dastard act.The people of Ghana want to know about the way their President passed away in unfamiliar and shocking circumstance. The late President was not for the NDC or Government alone. He was for all Ghanaians and we demand to know the circumstance leading to his sudden death when he had just returned to the country after medical attention overseas. He landed from the plane and was trotting on the tarmac indicating he was stronger than before.
Ghanaians disapproval of corruption brought about the revolt of 1979 when young officers of the Armed Forces lined up some people and shot them. There were several punishments for ill gotten wealth including seizures, imprisonments and beatings. There was clarion call for the ‘’cleaning’’ of the society of corruption. After embarking on constitutional democracy in 1992, the NDC was voted out in the year 2000 because of corruption. Then came the NPP in 2001 which was also voted out principally on the issue of corruption. The NDC was again returned to government in 2013 led by late Mills but later assassinated and taken over by John Mahama. The NDC has been in government for eight years as before and during this time the Government is heavily bathed in corruption than ever before. Because they know they will be called to account to the people of Ghana when they are out of power, they are trying hard to avoid accountability. Ghanaians should follow the same practice; to send the message thatthey detest corruption because the effect of corruption is devastating as we are going through currently.
The Ghana Police with their numbers cannot stop crime in the country but Nana Addo as a single person is required by the NDC to prevent misunderstandings in the NPP. Can this be possible? What is the essence of the rules and regulations governing the party? Not too long ago Carl Wilson of the NDC came out to announce he and some aggrieved persons in the NDC were forming a movement to contest the presidential election. Where did it end? He has been silenced by the party with monetary reward to abandon and to silence him. This is one of the things the NDC expects the NPP to do; the suppression of the individual’s aspirations and views. The seeming unity in the NDC is all about the splashing of money on any person who tends to be aggrieved to tow the line. They don’t believe in democratic practices and believe that there must not be divergent views among them. On the other hand the NPP believe in divergent views and democratic practices. Members are whipped in line using the agreed rules and regulations regulating the conduct of the party. This is the way modern organizations operate.
The suspension of the National Chairman of the NPP has really worried the NDC. The Chairman was a mole in the party to work against the presidential ambition of the flag bearer, with sponsorship from the NDC. The failure of this scheme has been a big worry to the NDC and will always blame the flag bearer for not allowing their agenda to succeed. Nana has been accused for not able to unite the NPP because the party has decided to suspend the National Chairman for allowing himself to be used as a mole. Was it Nana who suspended Paul Afoko?
Even the ruling by the court does not satisfy the NDC. Are the Judges card bearing members of the NPP? If there was merit in this case the court would have ruled in his favour. I have identified long before now that one of the strategies of the NDC going into this election is to attack the flag bearer personally, hoping to make him unpopular. I have pre-empted all the strategies of the NDC and these strategies are being unfolded one after another. One other thing I said was to engage in lies and misinformation which they are doing vigorously. The NDC is a party any good analyst with average intelligence can predict with certainty; never talk about issues. I wish I am a presidential candidate in this election, the NDC will be sad for itself.
Nana Addo has not been personally involved in any act of violence but he has been wrongly tagged so, and they know where to say this. Among the less informed and vulnerable voters.The NDC is a bunch of people who are good in designing ways to win elections but are very poor administrators. It appears many Ghanaians have not yet noted this about them since 1992. They have been in power for sixteen years but have the audacity to compare their performance with the NPP which has administered the country for eight years. This is like comparing the knowledge of a student in JHS 3 with a student in SHS 3. A fair comparison will be to compare eight years of each party in government. Given the same resources used by the NDC the NPP will transform this country into a ‘’paradise.’’ All the social interventions especially pro poor interventions, were introduced during the period of HIPC and without oil resources.
I wish to use this opportunity to advise Nana Addo not to get distracted because this is their ultimate motive. He should be focused and leave this job for some of us to do. There are truly more important issues to discuss with the people of Ghana if they are taking very seriously. We can debate this issue better than Nana himself because we understand what his perpetrators are up to. We shall not tell lies as they do but tell the truth for Ghanaians to judge for themselves. Nana, continue to press on the accelerator noting we are solidly behind you.
I am calling all parties contesting the elections to be wary about proxy voting. In the first place it is not compulsory for registered voters to vote, it is optional. Proxy voting is limited in usage and it is not the same as transfer of vote. Proxy vote should be applied by persons who will not be available in the jurisdiction on the day of voting or cannot vote as a result of incapacitation. Transfer of vote on the other hand should not be done indiscriminately except that the persons involved have relocated to new place of abode or hail from that place. People should not be allowed to decide on who becomes an MP for a constituency if they are not residing in those constituencies; it is unfair. Improper use of proxy voting and transfer of vote can be used to disadvantage potential MPs and also stealing in the elections. There should be transparency in the implementation of this process and people involved must meet the above conditions. The individuals involved should foremost be registered voters and can be identified personally.
The NPP should get clarification from the EC to tell the people of Ghana what the measures are when a polling agent or the candidate’s representative refused to sign the voting result as a result of disagreement. This is very important because there is the possibility of it happening.
Let the NDC be told that the increase in the enrolment of the NHIS is not because of the success of the scheme as they sought to suggest using officials from the Scheme to do the PR. The increase in enrolment if true, is due to increase in poverty in our country. The quality of service provided under the Scheme cannot be compared to those provided outside the Scheme. Many people wished they can afford health care without the NHIS but cannot because of poverty. There is no empirical evidence to proof that the increase in the enrolment on the Scheme is a sign of its success. The success of the Scheme cannot be limited to the enrolment but must be looked at in totality. The views of those on the Scheme are contrary to the views expressed by those engaged in the PR. Has Government been able to pay promptly the monies owed to the providers?
I enjoy discussing matters of law but I am more passionate talking about Finance because that is my foundation. In doing financial analysis, historical records are often used. The projections made on this basis of historical record assume conditions will remain the same. The past performance of the NDC speaks volume about what is in store for the country in the coming years; hardship. It is not enough to account to the people by just enumerating projects without the cost. They should give us the break down of the USD39 billion borrowed in the past three and half years.
The NDC havea tall list of projects they will do. They should tell us the source of funding for these projects and the amount involved. The country is already heavily indebted under their watch so it is important to know the additional commitment of the country. Administering a country is not only about projects but very importantly about policies and programs that will provide the people with better living conditions. The people will not eat the projects and even the projects should not just be constructed for the sake of it but should impact on the conditions of the people. The so called massive projects by the NDC have not alleviated the suffering of the people, so what is it?
The traditional sources of revenue for this country are taxes and levies, export proceeds, loans and grants and in recently the addition of public-private partnerships. The Infrastructural investment fund is not a source of funding. It is a means of appropriating funds like the sinking fund. The country has to generate the money first before it can put some into this fund. It is a savings mechanism aimed for a specific objective.
In the 2012 prior to the elections several promises like the one being mentioned in the manifesto of the NDC but how many of these promises were realized? These are all wishful thinking by a party and candidate eager to win elections. The philosophy of this Government is let us borrow heavily and engage in amassing wealth through the building of infrastructure. The people of Ghana want to know how the previous promises were realized and the effect of this realization on the living conditions of the people now.
Provision of jobs is the primary duty of the private sector. Government’s main role is to provide a congenial environment for the private sector to do what they know better. Jobs usually provided by government are for party people and friends. The private sector allow professionalism to influence job creation; this is why they are effective and efficient. These jobs created by the private sector like banks, manufacturing concerns are able to live far into the future. It has been the norm to slim down the size of the public sector all over the world. Labour rationalization usually occurs in the public sector whiles the private sector lays off when the economic fundamentals are only not good.
The NPP will not engage in the level of corruption by the NDC when Nana is elected as president. The money available to the country will be used efficiently that will ensure that the rate of development will increase at a faster rate. The projects, programs and policies will be well targeted to have material impact on the living conditions of the people.There is no paradigm of development that says the people should suffer whilst those in government and party people enjoy. In every part of the world, a government will always better the living conditions of the people if it wants to be maintained in power. But this is not what the NDC Government did but was engaged in corruption at the expense of better living conditions for the people. Another 4 years for this party will be worse than we have seen so far. Ghanaians will make the biggest mistake to vote for the Mahama led administration.
