It is said religion and science must go together for the welfare of mankind and i say simple plain common sense , justice and science must always walk hand in hand. Not so long ago scientist using DNA analysis were able to prove the DNA of the Pharaohs of Egypt was identical to that of the sub Saharan people of Akan and also they practiced the culture and tradition of Matriarchy which plainly proves Akan are the true chosen people which we all already knew. The blue print for nation building as designed by God for every nation is in the Bible and recommends we dont mix with the philistines or other wicked people such as pepeni/ayigbe Sodom / Gomorrah least we suffer the fire and brimstone of retrogression , nor should we worship their golden calf of islam that can only bring bad-luck to our efforts of modernization and development. After Mahama has completely corroded the philosophy or ideology of that their probity and accountability thingy, and utterly laid it to absolute waste in his crassness for looting, thievery and corruption, with the most recent being the Kanazoeing of the Flagstaff House for single sole-sourced contracts of bloatedness for sordid illicit financial and material gain, he is trying to find a co-equal in his dastardly conduct of shame that has earned him the unenviable and reckless title of the 2nd most corrupt in Africa, in Rawlings, using Lartey as proxy.
Who doesn't know looting and corruption and Mahama are on the same parallel track and in a tight embrace like siamese twins with the end result being a collapsed Ghana?
Lartey is asking what was the amount of $2 million dollars Gwarzo handed over to Rawlings for?
The question should rather be, how much has Mahama given to Lartey to prosecute this agenda against Rawlings, who is poised to wrestle his party from the irresponsible hands of Mahama and leave a much more refined and dignified legacy and healthy political organization borne out of his sweat and that of others, than what it has become; - a hotbed of thievery, looting, corruption, incompetence and cluelessness on a scale as to described as extremely radical in its fervor, outlook and orientation.
Maybe when Rawlings said Mahama's corrupt tendencies and subsequent actions had gone overboard, Mahama would have had the presence of mind to scale it back and effectively canned that irresponsibility, and perhaps he wouldn't have had to employ Lartey to bite and smear the hands that fed him to force him into a state of incommunicado on the rottenness of his administration which played out during that their campaign launch where Mahama's wife was begging Rawlings not to "boom". Who does Mahama and Lartey think they are kidding???

It is general knowledge that the 1992 Constitution of Ghana grants immunity to Presidents when they leave office. It is also common knowledge that this was the brain child of Parliament during the Presidency of J.J. Rawlings.

How then can an ex-president of the Republic of Ghana be served for actions pertaining to his period in Office as President. Ex-President J.J. Rawlings will be digging his own grave if he should fall for this "I can prove my innocence lingo". Ex-Presidents are immune from prosecution for actions pertaining to their years in Office.

It is on record that a great American fully believing his innocence was being persuaded to waive the statute of limitations clause to prove his/her innocence. Nobody knows anybody's motives and so if the Constitution of the Republic gives ex-presidents immunity from prosecution, ex-president J.J. Rawlings will not win any medals by disrespecting the Constitution and volunteering himself for prosecution.

Ex-President J.J. Rawlings in recent times have been a strong voice against corruption and so it may be tempting to jump in the ring thus breaking his own immunity - cannot be selective, I believe!

Bring Bible, Quran and Juju is not befitting of a former President of our great country.

Ex-President J.J. Rawlings must help himself immensely by resisting the urge to blame this John and that John of his own Party. It could end up being a snare for him. Love begets love and vice versa.

The Party in Opposition will celebrate his humiliation and so it will be his own undoing to think the arrows are coming from his own Party.

This is electioneering year and he has advised peace and may peace be onto him as well. He must enjoy his immunity and not repeal it by venturing into the unknown.

Anything he believes the NDC wishes against him, the Parties in Opposition wishes for him four fold.
