  This is a good initiative by Ghana Cocoa Board. It would be good if the government owns state cocoa plantations as well. Like say, 10,000 hectares of cocoa in the Western Region.

  This project will do better if it is formalized and properly pckaged so as to attract graduates to take to farming either on full time or part time basis.

  PAINTING,BAKERY AND CATERING.
  
  WHEN SHALL WE STOP TO TREAT THE YOUTH AS COMMON LABOURES AND PEASANT FARMERS AND ONLY FOR THEM TO GROW COCOA, AND IN ORDER FOR THE NATION TO EARN ITS HARD CURRENCY TO SERVICE NATIONAL BUDGETS, WAGES AND SALARIES, IMPORTATION OF COMMODITIS AND FOOD ITEMS, EXPENSIVE LUXURY CARS FOR USE BY NON PRODUCTIVE EDUCATED WITH BIG DEGREES AND PHD TITLES FOR THEIR EASY LIFESTRYLES IN THE COUNTRY.
  
  THIS IS TOTALLY WRONG. THIS AMOUNTS TO EXPLOITATION,CHEATING AND STEALING.
  
  THIS SHOULD BE AN ASSAULT ON THE INTELLIGENCE OF THE YOUTH AND THE LESS FORTUNATE AND THE DISADVANTAGED IN THE COUNTRY.
  
  ARE THEY NOT CITIZENS OF GHANA.
  
  IT WOULD HAVE BEEN FAR BETTER AND RATIONAL,FOR THE SO CALLED $74m BEING GIVEN TO SERIOUS,PRACTICAL PROFESSIONAL SKILL ENGINEEERS AND THOSE WITH ENTREPREUNIAL INTEREST TO INVEST IN MIDDLE LEVEL INDUSTRIES AND MANUFACTURING FIRMS,OR USED TO FIX THE ABANDONED FACTORIES WITH NEW PRODUCTION MACHINES TO TURN THE WHEELS OF INDUSTRILIZATION AS STARTED BY THE CPP GOVERNMMT FROM 1953-1966 ON THE LEADERHIP OF KWAME NKRUMAH.
  
  EXUSE ME TO ASK, ARE YOU SO CALLED POLICY MAKERS WITH DEGREES AND PHD TITLES OUT OF TOUCH ON HOW A NATION IS DEVELOPED.
  
  THE WORLD HAS CHANGED SINCE 1945, AND IT IS TIME YOU BECOME INNOVATORS.
  
  IN SUM,ONE CAN ONLY SEE AND BELIEVE, YOU FOLKS DO NOT HAVE TECHNOLOGY, SCIENTIFIC INNOVATION AND CREATIVITY TO TRANSFORM THE NATION.
  
  WAS IT WORTH AT ALL FOR YOU NOISY PEOPLE TO HAVE BEEN EDUCATED AT ALL.
