  Why all these empty noises about gold watches? Kuffour before leaving office, used tax payers money to buy gold chains to hung on his neck like a sort of bling-bling and decorated his cronies too. Nobody raised a finger. This year, the BoG in continuance of its time-immemorial reward system has suddenly offended some elephant senses. Why now? This is not the first time the BoG is planning to reward log-serving personnel, but hell no says the NPP and its surrogates. BoG had come out to explain they are using their own internally generated fund, yet hell no, they can't have it their way according to NPP. Go and burn the sea. Hypocrites. Ask your Bawumia if that has not been the practice.

  Well much as I do join the good people of condemning this outrageous spending, we need to understand that the bank of Ghana does not raise revenue through the people, the bank of Ghana mobolises revenue through the commercial banks . So to out it into perspective, we need to understand that the tax payers money is not generated through the bank of Ghana
