No normal mother would say that to a child she has given birth to!

No wonder she is 26. Some women at this mid 20s get frustrated at their early wrong decision taken. I'm very sure that the woman in question is saying the child is ugly but behind this, it could happen that the child's father had deceived her and not living as a responsible Father to the child for which anytime the mother sees the child reminds her of the father's mischief. She keeps this within herself and can only blame the child of being ugly. May God forgive her and tame her heart.
