There are free wifi in all colleges and Universities but its only available to students as part of incentives that's why you would need a password which is your student ID to access the service. You can also enjoy free wifi in restaurants and banks because its also being given to you as a customer and therefore its not directly free. besides that you will need to pay sky, talk talk, BT and other providers to use wifi. Please stop telling people what you don't know. I pay £83 monthly to subscribe for sports telephone and internet monthly.

I have a daughter at a public Shs and it is illegal to own phones, tablets or laptops per GES rules. So what will the free wifi in these schools be used for?
Again all the tertiary institutions I believe are already enjoying free wifi. At least I know for UG staff and students have free access.
